Amazing for total beginner
I bought this guitar in 2018 where it very quickly became an ecosystem for dust in my spare room. I played it on and off for a year learning the simple cowboy chords (A, Am, C, G etc). In October 2019 I went to the guitar shop and got some new strings and have consistently played it everyday for at least 30 minutes since and as a result I have really been able to bring out the best of this cheap guitar. As I was learning I was concerned with the quality finding that when playing some chords they were sounding a bit sitar like. but the more I played the more I realised it was down to me being a beginner. I would recommend taking it to your local music shop and asking them about some new strings just so you know exactly what your getting. Now i'm looking for my next guitar which I will purchase in the next 6 months, I can definately hear the differenc when watching youtube videos or playing more expensive guitars in the shop. For example its easy to hear the warmth of a Gibson or Seagull (what i'm considering) but as far as learning the guitar I would highly recommend this guitar.

The guitar arrived on time and well wrapped and boxed' so surprised when opened at the quality and look' and great tone with few extras after tuning it I was amazed by the melodic tones' very impressed and at a reasonable price' definitely recommend this guitar.

... doesn't affect how well the guitar plays- which is good especially for your chords etc
Arrived quicker than it said it would which was a bonus although I noticed that there was a small mark on the wood and some damage to the lower end of the fretboard which doesn't really bother me since It doesn't affect how well the guitar plays- which is good especially for your chords etc. It came with most of the accessories stated, spare strings, strap but only 1 pick. Also, the strap is pretty pointless because it is designed for 2 strap buttons but the guitar only comes with the single one at the bottom of the guitar rendering it pretty much useless so I use it on my sg instead. Aside from that it's a good product and fairly well made and for just under £50 good value and at the end of the day you get what you pay for but within the range it's a nice product.

AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought a guitar before this but i returned that as i did not know how to play it. After a month i thought to myself i want to learn how to play a guitar so i surfed the web and saw this one. I compared the prices of this guitar and found out that it was cheapest on Amazon so i orderd it online. This guitar was really easy to play with as it had a tutorial cd with it. Also it is a great price. This guitar was basically my first guitar and i reccomend it to all the people out there who want to learn how to play a guitar and people who want a new guitar if they have had one before!!!!!!!!!!

You get what you pay for - poor quality guitar, but it works
I bought this guitar so that I could learn how to play. I found it cheap on Amazon Warehouse deals. It came without any of the accessories other than a guitar strap which didn't fit (seems someone returned their guitar with a different guitar strap), although Amazon gave me a partial refund to make up for that. The guitar itself was actually in good quality. The issue is, the strings that come with it are terrible. They WILL shred your fingers. It's not just because you're a beginner, the strings might as well have been coated with sandpaper. I purchased some new strings with the guitar because I read another comment stating the same, although I was doubtful. I bought Martin M170 Extra Light Acoustic Guitar Strings , and attached them to the guitar within a few days of buying it, and found they were 100x better on my fingers, and sounded better too. The next issue with this guitar, is how high the strings are. By that I mean there is possibly 1/4 to 1/2 an inch of space between the strings and the fretboard in the middle of the fretboard, getting worse towards the sound hole. A capo helped make the guitar more playable, as it brings the strings lower, making it much easier to press down the strings. This may be due to the previous fact that the strings are too high, but the guitar sounds poor without a capo on, even after tuning it many times, it just doesn't sound great. This has been a big problem with this guitar for me, I have to play most things with a capo on to make the guitar sound normal, which has problems of it's own, but it does help a lot. Overall, the guitar isn't very good, despite it coming from a big name (Martin Smith). It's great if you don't want to spend too much, but be prepared to fight with this guitar, it's a nightmare to learn with.

Bridge pins not adequate
last year i started getting into learning how to play guitar, so I bought this one to begin practising. When it arrived, everything seemed fine at first. I started tuning it, and managed to get the first five strings tuned without any problems. However, when I got to the last (thinnest) string, things went wrong. My tuner showed it was way out of tune, so I kept adjusting it carefully, getting closer and closer to the right pitch — but it still wasn’t quite there. Then, out of nowhere, one of the bridge pins shot out of the guitar at high speed and flew across my living room, clipping the edge of my TV! I was very lucky it didn’t damage the screen. After that experience, I completely lost confidence in using it. Even though I have spare strings, I haven’t touched it since — it’s now just hanging on my wall as decoration.

In ogni caso buona musica a tutti!
