Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have this product on subscription. For a quick great soup, I simmer chicken broth and coconut milk with chicken and vegetables. When it's ready to eat, I stir in a spoonful of this mixture, and serve. It's always delicious. If I had to gather all the items in this mix and prepare them, and use them before they go bad, I would really miss this soup.

The product tastes fantastic, and there's no extra junk in it, which is rare these days.MOST importantly, though you cannot return food items, when one of my jars arrived with the top unsealed and some bit of a leak, I contacted the company directly, showed them my photo (*which they didn't even ask for) and they immediately sent out a replacement.Great customer service. The media could not be loaded. I am Very disappointed in this product and myself for now noticing that it has 150 mg of sodium per tsp!!? I use fresh lemongrass all the time and this tastes NOTHING LIKE LEMONGRASS! I can’t believe those other reviews saying it tastes great? Are we talking about the same product or did the “New Kid” misread the instructions and dump the whole bag of salt into this batch?🤔I tried it a couple of times hoping to be able to taste Anything other than intense SALT FLAVOR but nothing. It is not returnable so I will just dump it out as my fridge has no more room for items I WILL NEVER USE!!! Such a waste!!!???

We live in a rural area and do not have easy access to stores that carry lemongrass, so this paste option is an easy and convenient way to incorporate the flavor into your meal items. It lasts a long time in the refrigerator.

Tastes Great! I use it as a substitute for lemongrass in Thai food.

This loose paste contains lemongrass and also galengal, lime, onion, turmeric and jalapeno. (The loose texture is not a problem; it's just not a thick paste.)One tablespoon of this roughly equates to one 4-inch length of lemongrass and is perfect for dishes such as beef rendang that call for both lemongrass and galengal (if, like me, you don't always have them fresh to hand).
