George Foreman 4-Serving Indoor Grill with Removable Plates

VERY pleased with this George Foreman electric grill. I cook burger patties on it - mostly bison burger patties. I heat it up 3 minutes, put the garlic salt and pepper seasoned patties on it, two at a time, and set the timer for another 3 minutes. I like my meat very well done, and this works perfectly for me. The drip pan catches all of the fat and extra juices, and the patties are always cooked evenly. I may try it for grilled sandwiches in the future, but right now I am not eating any bread items. It appears to be well made, is a breeze to clean up, and takes up very little room on my counter. The non-stick surface is a "piece of cake" to clean, too! Very happy with our purchase!

I had this in my cart for a long time, thinking about whether I would really use it or not. I found it on sale and pulled the trigger. I find that I actually use it at least once or twice a week. I bought it to make burgers since I am not crazy about having to clean up the grease splatter when I use my cast iron skillet but honestly, I am still on the fence about whether I like how the burgers come out. Since there is no temperature control, you just season the meat, throw it on the grill and wait. The meat is cooked and has the grill lines cooked in but you don’t get the same char (flavor) as cast iron. What this grill does really well is grilled sandwiches, especially grilled cheese. The way I do it is to initially grill the bread separately so the butter can melt in. Then I take them off, build my grilled cheese and put it back to brown. I think if you tried to start with butter on both sides of a sandwich, the butter on the bottom half would run into the grease tray so less than ideal. I have also done pork chops and was fairly pleased with how they came out. The grill plates are removable which makes clean up easy. The top and bottom have no locking mechanism so storage can be a little challenging. I find it easier to just leave it on my counter. For the money, it’s a good product and it is easy to recommend.

I bought this sandwich maker recently and I’m very happy with it. It heats up fast and makes perfectly toasted, crispy sandwiches every time. The non-stick plates are easy to clean, and it’s compact for my kitchen. I’ve used it for grilled cheese, ham sandwiches, and even sweet versions — all turn out delicious. Excellent value and works great after several weeks. Highly recommended!

This is a great choice for cooking up protein and reducing the fat/grease while being super easy to clean. Fast, even cooking and no need to flip. Took one star off because it’s way smaller than I expected. I can cook 2 hamburger patties at a time max, so I wouldn’t say 4 servings. But it’s still great!

I needed a contact grill for meats, veggies, etc that was super easy to clean. My current panini press (Cuisinart) is good for sandwiches but impossible to clean for meats. Pluses - Size - holds 2 frozen Costco burgers or 2 chicken breasts, etc Performance - remarkably fast cooking, even those frozen burgers (5 mins), great (and tasty) grill marks, asparagus 3 mins, fat/grease/juices drain into drip tray because unit is designed sloping forward, handle remains cool Clean-up - Big Plus! - grill plates are well-designed and made, easy to remove and replace, super slick non-stick finish, drip tray is removable for easy emptying, ALL the drips are contained and captured, no splattering. I hand cleaned (wiped with 1 paper towel) the two grill plates, easy. With same paper towel wiped out the drip tray and then hand washed tray in soapy water. I couldn’t imagine an easier, faster clean-up. Cons (minor)- drip tray slides into place but does not “snap”. Power cord is not generously long but adequate. No temperature control but I’ve never missed that feature, not once. Hint - when grilling large chicken breasts I pound them a bit to even out the thickness so they cook evenly without any parts overcooking. With these really hot days lately, I never turn on the oven or grill any more. Happy camper.

I love this little thing!! Super slippery grill plates. Super easy to clean. However hot dogs slide right out when you lift the lid because of the pitch of the unit. That’s great for draining grease, not so much for hotdogs landing on the floor. To compensate for this, when I make hotdogs I put something under the front legs to level the unit a little. Problem solved. U can only fit 2 large burger patties (fresh not frozen) at a time. I cook 7 min and perfect medium well. Only has 1 temperature, HOT. And the indicator on the lid is red when preheating and then a green light comes on when ready. Grill plates hold in well and super easy to remove to wash. I’ve don’t most of mine waging by hand. Not dish washer. Again I’m very happy with the value for what it does. I’d say only buy if you’re a single person or just a couple. Not recommended for a family unless you plan on cooking in shifts. Again, I love it and have had over 6 months. Lastly, I’ve only used for hot dogs and hamburgers.

I bought my George Foreman grill because I am trying to eat better. It is wonderful, I have cooked chicken breast and salmon both with peppers, onions and mushrooms. The food cooks quickly and tastes great. I just wipe clean and I'm done.

This grill cooks good, but it is not the same quality as the one I had for 20 years. Except for the heating elements and grill plates this newer version is made of mostly plastic. The back of the grill plates leave a black greasy residue on anything that touches them. Even after multiple washes. It would be safer to use with an off on switch as the previous model had. The only way to turn this unit on or off is with the electric cord. As I already mentioned it does cook well and the cooking side of the plates are nonstick and clean easily.

I don't know why this grill is sold on Amazon Sweden. It's designed for 110 Volt and for an American plug, it's useless in Europe

Looked well made but it failed. Also had to post it back to USA which was costly.

Quedé muy contento con este producto. 1. Su tamaño no es estorboso y si le podrían caber 4 piezas de carne pequeñas o dos grandes 2. Coce muy rápido, directo del congelador, coci dos carnes en menos de 5 minutos y el precalentado inicial que solo se hace una vez tardó a lo mucho 4 minutos 3. El que se remuevan las placas hace que la limpieza sea muy fácil. Yo amante de las hamburguesas que por cierto no las cocinaba mucho por el tema de la limpieza ahora estoy sumamente satisfecho y sin duda las prepararé mas en casa en lugar de salir a comerlas afuera. Nota. Lo del humo es normal que en cualquier cocción y además es menor al que deja un sartén. Por último me llegó gratis y en menos de tres días Espero te sirva mi reseña. Saludos.
