Works as a long floor scratcher or may be reinforced for stand-up.
I liked the height of it standing up and the cardboard seems fairly substantial. However the way it was constructed, to be held standing by cardboard inserts and double-stick tape, only lasted 2 days. It’s efficient for shipping in this format but it needs to be one-piece to hold up.

Buy Duck Tape Too
Although I like the concept, the adhesive strips used to support the scratching pad don't hold. I used duck tape to hold it together. It's just cardboard so I don't understand why it's so expensive. That said, now that it will stand up on it's own, my cat is starting to use it. Update - duck tape didn't work for long and ultimately it was just laying flat on the floor. Save money and just by one that isn't intended to stand up.

Does not stay in "L" shape.
Flimsy pieces of cardboard with two sided tape is used to keep the "L" shape so it will stay against the wall. This lasted two days. With cats doing what they are supposed to do, this fell apart in no time. Luckily, my cats still like to scratch the box, but it is flat on the floor. I do not recommend.

All 4 cats love it and it's saving my couch
I have 4 cats and they all love it. My two youngest were using the couch as a scratcher, but they haven't touched it since we got the actual scratcher. Considering getting another

Fiddly but works.
My cats love it. They were so hard on it, I've tie wrapped it to the leg of the chair they were trying to destroy.

Cats love it!
I have 2 large cats that are absolutely in love with this scratcher. They can stand up straight and go to town on it. One has even started to sleep on it. Durable enough that it should last a couple months in my house but, I will definitely be ordering another one.

Love!
I have Norwegian Forest Cats who are quite large and this is the first scratcher tall enough to accommodate them. They adore it and even though it’s cardboard it’s holding up amazingly well. Love!

Great for 1 cat
This product has definitely helped with our cats scratching furniture. However my suggestion is to buy one for each cat. Our one cat has claimed it as his own. Whenever the other cat tries to use it she gets pushed off. They need their own.
