These arrived within 2 days, with the benefit of Prime.Since we've had our Samsung American Style Fridge Freezer, we have exclusively used the genuine Samsung filters without a thought to what compatible filters may be available. Fortunately, just before purchasing yet another Samsung branded filter, I spotted these in an ad for 'items you may also like' and on reading the reviews decided to give them a go instead.One obvious benefit to these is that despite a cheaper price, there are 2 filters, meaning in around 6 months time, we won't have to buy another one. £13.99 for a branded Samsung one, or £12.45 for two compatibles. This will save us £1.54 right off the bat, £15.53 in the first year, £155.30 over the anticipated life of the fridge.The second plus, is that they are much easier to fit than the Samsung originals. Simply push the water feed pipe in, and hand tighten the fitted nut (Nip it up a quarter turn with a spanner or wrench when the nuts are finger-tight for reassurance). The Samsung ones have tiny coloured clips to lock the pipe in place, and are a bit fiddly and easily ping away - therefore easily lost.The third plus is that they have the same diameter as the branded originals, and therefore clip straight in where our previous one went. If you dont have these clips, handily, UK water filters include 4 x ty-wraps to fix them down.Once fitted, the water ran black for about 30 seconds, before turning grey. This is perfectly normal, even for higher priced premium branded ones. Make sure you run the water for several minutes to ensure all the black carbon from the filter has run through. Connect the feed side of the filter, and if possible, let it drain directly into a bucket until it runs clear, before connecting the outlet side of the filter to your tubing.our water tastes just as good as it did yesterday, and we have money left overWhat's not to like?!

Perfectly serviceable replacement for a Samsung external water filter. Connected without problems, it uses compression screw fittings to attach the 1/4" pipe so it feel securely attached. You do need to run water through it for a while before all the lose charcoal comes out, but that is the same with branded filters as well - I ran it through for about 5 minutes and the water was crystal clear. Water tastes clean and fresh - the reason for only 4 stars it that is is slightly slimmer than the branded Samsung equivalent so it doesn't fit snugly in the clips - easily rectified with either the cable ties supplied, or with a bit of padding.Perfectly fine!

I bought these to replace 12" Pozanni filters (Samsung WSF-100) American Fridge Freezer. These are the smaller 10" version so are much lighter but seem to be doing the job nicely. They didn't come with a "mounting kit" (but I already had this so I didn't need another one) but it was a very simple job of cutting the old cable ties and unscrewing the plastic nuts on the top and bottom, inserting the new filter, tightening up the plastic nuts again and securing with the supplied new cable ties - simples!I should add that I had previously received a little plastic spanner (from another supplier with the previous Pozanni filters) so loosening and tightening up the nuts was super easy and safe, without this I presume you'd either have to use a (metal) adjustable spanner or similar device. If you don't need the mounting kit or spanner (which I didn't) these seem to be perfect at an incredibly good price so I am very happy!

Managed to get 3 Litres per minute flow through these filters ... (it filled three 1 litre jugs in 60 seconds). Main reason I have these is as an under sink filter (not for a fridge). Although the mains water we have in Manchester is very good quality, it does have a chlorine taste (and smell) .... these filters take this out leaving the water a pleasure to drink. Very impressed with the price and especially the flow rate. The company don't publish the percentage % filtration of chlorine for this filter... i'd like to know what the filtration specs are.

UK Water Filters prices had risen quite sharply so I tried a competitor last time. All I need to say is that you appear to get what you pay for in terms of consistent filtered “taste” throughout the six month period. As a result we’ve reverted to this product this time.

Direct replacement for our Neff fridge freezer and easy to fit. It had a different connector to our previous filters, which were secured by clips. This is secured by tightening a plastic nut - but just as effective.Make sure you run the water for a good 2-3 minutes to ensure all the black carbon from the filter has run through (perfectly normal for a new filter of any brand).

AVOID AVOID!! Used these as replacement for Samsung fridge filters, they are USELESS, may as well be an empty container!!Replaced old Samsung filters that were 8 months old as they were showing 140 parts per million on my water quality meter, (tap water in my area has around 300 parts per million).Fitted thes new filter and showed 280 parts per million, after one week still showing 235 parts per million, so they are as good as useless and a waste of money!!

I realise it is hard to get excited by water filters, but I am please with these. I cannot believe how much money Comet conned me into parting with for their replacement filters (£50 a time!). These are a doddle to fit, my only gripe is the amount of water that needs to be run through before the cartridge is flushed of the charcoal (or whatever) dust. I was horrified when I first ran the water through as I had not realised it needed doing and ended up with a glass of ink!
