30 Years - Live From The Sunset Strip

I just can't shake it
I actually liked the most recent Great White album, elation. I was curious as to how the new singer would sound on the old material, so I bought this album as soon as it came out. With no disrespect meant to Terry, this version of the band just doesn't cut it. The singer strains to hit high notes that Jack made seem so easy. I also find it interesting, as another reviewer noted, that they do not do ANY songs off of the new album. The band sounds as tight as they always have, but without Jack singing these songs, it's just not the same. I would recommend this to absolute die-hards only. In my opinion, this shark has lost some of it's bite.

Great White Live
This album rocks. It was wonderful to hear the older songs with new life in them. Terry Ilous is a great addition to a already great band. I was pleasantly surprised and actually like the band more after listening. My only complaint would be that they didnt record more songs and make it a double live album. I hope they come out with a live dvd from the show. GREAT WHITE is better than ever!

Great White new album -Fantastic! Rocks!-thanks
The album has all the songs! And really showcases thier new singer Terry Ilous(XYZ) talents!Great White has always been an awesome band live and this album lets you have it in your living room!Mark Kendall smokes on the lead guitar as always and Michael Lardie in addition to guitar/keyboards is like a genious producer/engineer and the rythem section Audie Desbrow on drums and Scotty Snyder on bass is as bad ass as it gets anywhere! We love this album! And recommend everyone to buy it as well as thier new studio album "Elation" which came out 1 year ago with all new tracks.Great White Rocks!!!We Love you Great White!!We would like the dvd of show ?see you out there this soon!

Sounds great and fun to listen to
This was a great sounding performance of the best old songs. I sounds like the band had a great time playing this material again. If you forget about the stuff with former singer/songwriter Jack Russell, it is a fun listen.

If you think this is Great White..You don't know Jack! Sounds like Judas Priest covering Great White
Great White is not Great White without Jack Russell. Jack's voice puts the groove to the tight music. I have been a GW fan forever....this 30 Years CD is shameful and sounds like Judas Priest covering Great White tunes. Although the music is as tight as ever and Mark's guitar wails, Terry does not have the pipes to give the music the bluesy punch that is Great White. Terry is a nice enough guys but his voice sounds like he is going to break into "Breakin the law" in every song. Da blue's aint' sung with a british draw. I hope Jack continues to get his head out of his ass and live clean.. Someday I hope to see Audie, Michael, Mark and Jack back together again...If you think this CD is Great White..You don't know Jack!

I dont mind the new singer, and i liked there last cd with him. what i don't like is that the recording is poor....... and no new songs? but its still worth a listen.

Worth the Buy!!
Bluesy Rock and Roll took me out of the past and into the present with Terry Ilous Mark Kendall, Michael Lardie. Scott Snyder, Audie Desbrow at their finest. Elation is great, but this is LIVE! Amazing, perfect for this rainy Sunday afternoon!

Great White 30 Years-Life from the Sunset Strip

I'd never even heard of these until a random track popped up on Spotify. Listened to some more and bought this CD. Recommended
