I bought this stand desk for two reasons:1. my chiropractor recommended that i should stand whilst working , so to reduce the damage to the spinal column2. It would be better than the mini laptop stand, books and boxes I was previously using got raise the laptop to a suitable position to reduce neck strain whilst standing.I have to say.. it is certainly sturdy and heavier that I thought.Its easy to put together (you have to attach the keyboard stand - all screws provided).It is an absolute dream to use and well worth the investment.

Assembled in minutes, really sturdy and easy to adjust from sitting to standing position.Great value for money.

This is not bad at the price, but there are a couple of thing to beware of.(1) I bought the DM05D3 as this was supposed to be one of the smaller models. However this is HUGE, especially in the front-to-back direction. Ignore the specified dimensions: it's actually 80cm from the back of the desktop surface to the front of the keyboard (at the widest points of the curves), and 73cm from side to side.My main desk has an 'S' curved front, 80cm at the wider end and 60cm at the narrower; placed at the wide end, the keyboard shelf still overhangs significantly (see photos). On the plus side though, it means there's plenty of space for notes etc (A4 paper included for scale).(2) When fully extended, it's a bit wobbly in the side-to-side direction, which is amplified by the monitor being on its own stand. I'm not sure yet whether I'll be able to live with this. I'll give it a few days.I would expect that the other designs I see on Amazon, where the 'X' legs are along the front and back, are sturdier in the side-to-side direction but more wobbly in the front-to-back direction.BTW I bought the "used - as new" version. Happy with that choice: the unit was indeed as-new.

Great product. Sturdy unit, smooth action, easy to use.It is heavy to lift the box when it arrives, and to lift it onto your existing desk/surface, but that's what makes it sturdy.I have 2 screens on it and can easily adjust the height without any difficulty.Great product.

This is sturdy and heavy and I can see how this could work really well. I'd even add that when fully extended it was pretty solid.However when at its lowest setting it doesn't 'lock' in place, so it bounces when you lean on it, which is pretty poor. Add onto this the exposed hinges and suddenly we have a place for little fingers to get trapped... Not something I'm comfortable having around my kids.A shame as this seems like such a fundamental flaw as I imagine most people will be using it at the lowest level at some point. Cannot recommend and I'm sending it back.

Very good for the price, easy to setup and comes well packaged. The up and down action is smooth thanks to the gas struts and it clicks into various positions so you can adjust it accordingly.

Absolutely brilliant; I can stand up during meetings which takes the pressure off my back. Easy to lift up and push down. Had a good amount of space used as a writing surface even with a monitor and laptop. Has a small amount of space underneath which can be used for papers.

It’s very solid, and very heavy. I raise and lower it several times a day, with a laptop, 24 inch screen and a keyboard and notebooks and pens on it. It takes some effort to raise it up, but gives you a good workout. If I lost it I’d look to see if there’s anything lighter and cheaper to replace it, but if I didn’t find anything better I’d buy it again.
