This lighting strip is a good product at a fair price. I have been trying it out as lighting to brighten up a large mid-century moderne china cabinet, and it seem to be quite effective. It is necessary to be very careful when fitting it to a solid (eg wood) surface. You need to make sure the surface to which the strip is to be fitted is thoroughly clean and free of dust or grease. If possible, a cautious roughening of the surface with a fine grade of sandpaper would also improve adhesion. There are many ways of using this strip, at various lengths, around the home, especially to brighten up dim corners. I would not try to use this on wallpaper surfaces, because it would not adhere well and might cause tearing, but on a properly painted wall (or other) surface it would work quite well. All in all, a very useful lighting strip, at a fair price.

Unfortunately just started camper build unwrapped the lights wired plugged and nothing, no lights . At all power good tried different lights no problem but theses 👎🏻

I ordered these to fit to the plinth of my kitchen island, and they look great installed! A full 10m length gave me plenty of scope to play with, and because they can be trimmed, I could cut them to the length required (to the nearest indicated cut line, of course) The LED's are closely spaced and give a look of continuous light, which not all light strips do.The only down side of this is you need to supply your own driver. It would have been a lot easier if there'd been one included, but I suppose some folks might want dimming and others not. Still, it's more expensive having to purchase individual components rather than a combined kit, and more hassle, so minus one star for this.When you do purchase a power supply, make sure it's designed for LED's specifically (important, this) and that it's 24V with a rating of at least 2A. More is fine, and I often use a higher capacity driver to make sure it runs cooler.A positive feature of these is the ability to cut and solder them together, using the built-in pads. This gives two advantages - an ability to create true 90 degree corners, and the ability to daily-chain sections, with wire in between. Very handy, and the reason I'm giving a star back again. 5 stars it is, then!

These strip lights are very bright and stick very well. I have had them up for a bit and have experienced no issues with them whatsoever within this time. Would recommend to anyone who needs some lights.

So make sure you read the listing before you purchase.I eventually got one through the vine program but they are £17.99 to buy so that makes this an expensive light.Saying that it does look the part around my new lounge units, they are bright and very clean smart looking.

Superb quality and value, but they do not come with a 24V driver - which you will need. Very easy to install using the adhesive backing and the light they provide is excellent - no gaps like conventional strips of leds.

I bought two of the 5.5meter (18ft) version of this for on top of my kitchen overhead cabinets. It's very bright, even, and accurate warm light. If you get the 18ft versions, make sure you get at least a 4amp power supply for each one! All the notation on this page assumes the 2meter (6ft) version, and a 2a power supply will quickly burn out!

I used these lights for a backlit shadow box project and they worked perfectly. The cover helped diffuse the light a little, and sanding the plexiglass did the rest. The color was nice, as so many LEDs are too cool. The adhesive worked well.

Original review: Stated to work on 12V, but this item is very dim when run off 12V compared to other 12V LED tape strips I have throughout the house. Will try swapping to a higher voltage adapter, but a little dissatisfied based on the item description.11/12/23 update: After initially placing this review the seller reached out and provided additional information that was not in the listing at time of purchase or this revised review writing:---"you need a power supply of 12V 2A or above, otherwise the light strip will appear darker"---I had multiple 12V LED plugs around of varying amperage around and once that was swapped out the light appears stable, bright and uniform as other reviews indicate. Please be aware of the plug requirements and hopefully this helps someone else who has multiple older plugs around their house (that may not be sufficient to power this strip).Also note: run length will impact your effective amperage -- even when using a 3A plug I noticed significant dimming when I had an extension in line as my outlet is a ways away.

Compare with traditional LED strips with spaced apart, clear dark spots in the middle, this COB LED strip is strong and durable and has a silicone textured line along the centre, under this strip, if you look closely, you can see the very dense individual lights that extremely close together, it creates a more uniform glow rather than dots.The cut sections are close together by being only 2.5cm apart so you can cut this very close to the exact length you need, a pleasure item.

Absolutely love the tone and brightness of this cob strip.
