Yale Locks P334 Rim Lock Grey Finish 156 x 104 mm Visi Pack

Well made and solid rim lock. It replaces a cheaper version (which kept jamming) and has worked perfectly since installation.

Bought to replace a 100 year old lock. Had to get the drill out as the spindle and keyholes didn’t line up, also, the locking plate position had to be adjusted. Too early to say how long it will last, but it was a very good price compared to other well known brands.

Arrived safely! Fitted this replacement easily as it matched the original perfectly.

Good does the job

Last less than 6 months with daily use....ok, depending on where you put it but not a high quality build when I took it apart to try and repair....before dispatching to the bin.

This is very obviously a China import made of thin metal. There is no security and it can be unlocked with a bent wire. The spring fell out during a professional install, and I am not convinced it is weatherproof. My worry is, if it fails in the closed position, that I will have to destroy the door to gain access. They look passably antique, but cheap as chips.

Au bout d'un certain temps (2/3mois) la poignée ne remonte plus toute seule. Penser a graisser la clenche des que ça devient nécessaire. Installé en applique, pensez a dégager qlq mm dans le haut de la serrure pour la profondeur de la clef 😁
