Plump and juicy . These clams are great compared to the minced brown garbage you get in the small cans at the supermarket. HINT: They just need to be warmed, not overcooked. That way they don't get rubbery.

Great product I used to get on the east coast...still delicious but need to buy in smaller cans they do not freeze well.

Although clams are always quite pricey these days, no matter where you purchase them, these weredelicious and made a wonderful clam chowder. I would buy from this company again, as they werevery good.

I use this along with a large can of clam juice to reproduce a Rhode Island clam chowder one can't buy anywhere in Florida.

Made a decent clam sauce...they seemed fresh and pink and white.But one of the cans came badly dented. It wasn't leaking but I'm not sure whether or not to return it. The other can was fine.They came in a plastic bag inside a box...lame packing job.

La Monica Chopped Clams, 51-Ounce This merchant's ad is confusing and misleading. The ad states "receive 2-51 oz cans". I ordered two (or a total of four cans) of this item and should have received four cans of clams. All I received was two cans. Fortunately I was able to resolve the problem with Amazon Support who issued a credit for the missing two cans. Amazon Support is to contact merchaant about problems with their ad. I have not used any of the product itself and cannot offer any opinion about the product.

I USA LA MONICA CLAMS FOR THE FIRST TIME TO MAKE CLAM CHOWDER TO FEED 25 PEOPLE PER 51 OZ CAN. MY COMRADES AT THE VFW POST WHERE I MAKE CLAM CHOWDER THREE OR FOUR TIME A YEAR ALL SAID THIS THE BEST CHOWDER I MADE.THEY LIKE THE OTHER CLAM CHOWDER, BUT THIS BATCH WAS THE BEST I EVER MADE.
