Lovely To Look At, Totally Impossible To Operate
Wait until you try and set it up. Only an idiot company would put out "instructions" like this. Not one word, just meaningless pictures that apply to several different models. In other words, totally useless. I have always been a fan of Rubbermaid products but this is the worst product I have ever seen come with their name on it. Best of luck trying to figure out how to use it. OH, let me add, I went to their factory site to attempt to see what refill went with their product number 1793510 and it said there was no such product even though it is clearly imprinted on the box. How professional Rubbermaid. Way to go! Maybe you were thinking there SHOULDN'T be this product because it is so ridiculously bad. So best of luck trying to find out the refill to use since Rubbermaid is too cheap to include one when you buy their product.

NOT Made in the USA
Although this is a Rubbermaid product, it says that it is made in Taiwan. The description on this site is misleading as it claims that it is "mad in the USA". I haven't used it yet so I can't let you know if it is working properly, Although I thought it would be important to let all potential purchasers about the false claim.I actually called Rubbermaid and they informed me that they own TC (Technical Concepts) the company that makes this device (you will see a "TC" logo on the bottom of the picture, but they assured me it was owned and backed by Rubbermaid. The box it came in had no indication of being from Rubbermaid as well.

The refills are discontinued
I bought this thinking it was a typical can model but this uses a special plastic cartridge and they have been discontinued. I was able to find the last batch anywhere at some janitorial supply in Canada. It cost me an arm and leg to get them to the US.

Touted as industrial strength for commercial bathrooms and doesn't even work in small kitchen- huge waste of money
I bought this with the really expensive spray cans that are supposed to be industrial strength and last for a long time for use in my 800 sq ft loft rather than constantly managing the various plugin styles throughout the flat that gets costly. It makes a loud spray sound that shocks visitors, there is no noticeable scent even in the small kitchen area (and this was meant for commercial bathrooms) the expensive D batteries went out with first can. Huge expense as I bought a case of 9 cans and they were not returnable.

Effective, but the popping noise is distracting in a house
To be fair, this is listed as a commercial product and we are trying to use it in a house. It works, is very configurable for a strong to light application and easy to figure out. The problem is the loud popping every time there is a release of scent. It's not too bad when the TV is on or there is other ambient noise, but in the quiet of the night it does take some getting used to...not sure if we can.

These are amazing. We have them placed all over our building and our tenants just love the slight smell they produce.
