Dog Sling
The media could not be loaded. My dearest friend is my large black labrador I have had since I was a teenager. He is now almost 18 years old and he doesn't get around as good as he use to. However he still wants to go with me everywhere I go. He and I use to go run in the park every day after I got off work and even though he can barely walk he begs to go with me when I head outside. While we don't actually run anymore as he definitely can't do that, we do enjoy going for a nice leisurely stroll still. One of the problems is that he has an issue getting up and down the curbs and the few steps up to our favorite path at the park. Using this sling I can assist him without having to actually lift him so he still gets to go walking with me and I know without doing a lot of lifting I can still assist him to get to our path and back and once home we can go up and down the stairs to get inside without causing him so much paln. This sling is made so that if he needs to use the bathroom he can do so without the sling hindering him. I was so glad to find a way to help my best friend enjoy the rest of his life by my side.

Very difficult
Don't waste your money on this. No instructions provided. The one video on the site is clearly somebody who has put this on 100 times before making the video and watching her in the video and the difficulty she had should've been a clue. If you have a large dog that is lacking mobility in the back legs good luck. Straps flopping all over it it's very difficult to figure out where the legs go and not get caught up in the other straps. No indication as to front or back. The leg straps when you're lifting pro providing support are too close to the dogs anus and when it goes to the bathroom it goes on the straps. I purchased another one that is more centered that also works to keep the back legs supported as well as the midsection so it is more easier balanced. I guess it must've been much too complicated for the developer to put tags saying right leg left leg front back. What a concept. If you're not going to provide a simple diagram then at least provide tags. I will be donating this to an animal shelter and maybe they can find use for it.

Sizing chart is incorrect
I purchased this because my Male German Shepherd's back legs have been going out. He's 12 years old and is a rescue who spent the first 3 years of his life being starved and beaten (he weighed 30lbs when I got him at the age of 3 and put most of his weight on his front legs when doing normal activities and would NOT jump for any thing)We have tried a few different back end harnesses and supports but most ended up hurting him more, getting clogged with hair, or falling off when he walked on his own. This one mostly stays on, but the leg loops are way to big. I made sure to go by the sizing chart. I measured his waist and checked twice. Guess it didn't help much. The waist area fits, but the leg loops just keep slipping down at times and if you dont pay attention and readjust it, can cause your pup to stumble a bit. The waist wrap is supposed to go in front of his peen BUT if you tighten it to where the thing doesn't move, it messes with the ability to urinate properly. Too tight and urine has a tendency to stay in the urine tract of the peen. Too loose and it slips onto the peen and gets soaked with urine. It's a LOT of readjusting. The handles are NOT the best. They constantly loosen on their own, creating a longer handle and messing up the lift height. You CANNOT leave this on them if the product doesn't fit all around in every aspect because if it's slipped just a little, it can put pressure on their peen and cause it to get stuck outside it's sheath, unable to go back in because the product is pressing into the sheath obstructing it.Maybe for a smaller dog it would fit better all around and be more accurate, but from what I have seen from other reviews, many of the XL customers have had similar issues of it not fitting as it should. For now, I hold my dogs back end up with one arm while placing the product. Its a bit of a juggle but thankfully he can still use his front legs well enough, helping to divide the weight of his 110 lb body.Over all the product holds together well enough, except for the handles and their bad habit of loosening on their own. The Velco manages well with all of his shedding right now as well. Still holding strong. As for ease of walking with this thing, I'd say 2/5 stars due to the constant readjusting I have to do.Overall, it's not the best, but it's definitely not terrible either for the price, as long as you pay attention a lot. If your dog isn't able to still use their back legs at all, and is larger, I dont suggest this. Lots of readjusting means they need to be able to slightly help still.

Dog Lift Harness
I have a senior dog with some mobility issues, primarily in his back legs. It was getting harder for him to navigate stairs and get into the car, so I decided to give this lift harness a try.I am happy with how adjustable it is. My dog is on the larger side of medium, and I was able to get a comfortable and secure fit without any problems. The padding is a definite plus. It seems really soft, and my dog does not mind wearing it at all.The harness has made a noticeable difference in his mobility. I use it to help him up the stairs and into the car, and it takes a lot of the strain off of him. I can tell he is more comfortable moving around, and I feel better knowing I am not putting any extra pressure on his joints. Also while it is great for assisted walking, it is not meant for full lifting. It is more about support and stability.I am pleased with this purchase overall. It has made a real difference in my dogs quality of life.

Pinched inside legs for weak dog
My dog was having real difficulty walking and I thought this would be comfortable for her, but it put too much pressure and friction inside her legs it was uncomfortable and too difficult to put on a dog that couldn’t stand on her own.

Great Sling
Great Sling. I ordered it in the wrong size and it was easily returned and swapped for the correct size. There are no instructions for how to put it on but if you put it on backwards, you'll know it. Thankfully my dog is pretty patient with me!
