UNTIL THE ROAD ENDS: CYCLING THE AMERICAS (A World Tour by Bicycle Book 1)

I was especially interested in reading this book since Jacob was in the same homeschool group as my kids and I sat on the homeschool board of directors with his mom.I was not disappointed with Jacob’s book. He made me feel like I was riding right along with him on his trip! It’s a fun read.

Jacob is a talented writer, his first book is not your "average" cyclotouring story. Once you begin to read it's hard to stop. He's describing the hard reality of cycling around the world on a small budget, all the adverse conditons and mechanical failures he has to overcome to keep going.It's not heroic, it's not boring, just exhilarating.He's on the road since 4 years, destroyed 4 bikes in 110 000 km and still pedaling... A second volume, I hope will cover the other parts of his trip.An extraordinary human powered adventure.

Eccellent read. A story of steely determination and unbridled optimism. Shows you what you can achieve if you set your mind to it.Really interesting seeing how Jacob gets round all the bicycle breakdowns and his own health challenges. As a backrop we see the cultural changes in the people and the countries as he travels through the Americas.

Great adventure and look into the mind of an independent world traveler.

As a cyclist, I am amazed at these round the world cyclists. Written simply but am sure that his prose will improve. More narrative required
