PreSonusEris 5BT Bluetooth Studio Monitors, Pair — 5" Powered, Active Monitor Speakers for Near Field Music Production, Audio Mixing & Recording

After researching over a week for affordable (reference) Studio Monitors, I picked the PreSonus Eris 5BT over the M-Audio 4.5BT. I must say, I chose the right ones. The sound is clean. nice Bass, and the Highs are clear and crisp. I have a big desk, so these perform well and sound great. They are easy to set up, the Bluetooth connection is fast and stable. I did not get any distortion why testing with music. The power switch is in the front of the left speaker, and these are very portable to take on any occasion. I do recommend these speakers. Another Great buy.

I feel like ~$250 is not a lot to spend on a set of speakers. These monitors have a pretty good low end and seem to be balanced. Easy set up out the box and it includes an aux cable and an RCA cable, for some entry level monitors at $250 seems like a good deal.

These are truly amazing bookshelf speakers, they surpassed my expectations by a mile. I use these for an Audio Technica turntable, the AT120 series with BT/USB/RCA connectivity. I started by connecting then to my turntable with BT but I have better results using a decent tube pre-amp connected between the turntable and speakers by RCA connections.These sound great and fill my vaulted living room/dining room and even kitchen with beautiful highs, mids and lows. The bass from these are very surprising. It is very ample for the open space layout I have in my townhouse. I typically do not turn my pre-amp volume past midway as it can be heard by my neighbors... Justvan ideal setup. Would Klipch 5's or 9's be better? I do not think do, especially for the price point. I highly recommend these to anyone looking to add great satellite speakers to their turntable, TV, or whatever you deem suitable. And they do have a Sub out if one desires to add one.

These are my first studio speakers and I got to say holy heck these things are amazing! Finally some speakers with actual volume and a$$ behind it! I got the 5BT and I'm completely impressed and blown away by the results. I feel like I've gone from peasant to a king with this upgrade and my listening pleasure will no doubt be littered with ear orgasims for years to come. These speakers are perfect for my music production and dj controller and daily listening pleasure. I'm using Bluetooth to connect to pc and it's working well! Easy plug and play design with no software that I know of needed. 100% worth the money. Can't wait to buy the big sub for it!

Eris 5 and the monitors produce loud booming at around 130Hz when bass is playing in certain tracks. Everything else sound fine. I tried playing with the knobs on the back wall, but they don't really help. Google search highlighted a lot of people having exact same issue with Eris 3.5 and Eris 4, returning the monitors to solve the issue.

Exceptionally accurate with a wide open sound field. Remember these are near field monitors not consumer grade speakers so you may need to sweeten the sound a bit with an equalizer if using them for casual listening. I find them comfortable with a four decibel boost to the speakers on low shelf control.

WOW, just wow. I am truly amazed at the sound quality of these speakers. I bought the 5" monitors and paired them up without issue and began jammin' out. Very clear, great bumps, and pairs automtically without a hitch every time! Really happy with these and have already recommended them to several people!
