This is a nice leather notebook.The maritime theme is really cool.It’s a good price, so hey! That’s awesome.It hasn’t fallen apart in the two weeks I’ve had it, so that’s a good sign. The leather strings that hold the outside together are quite sturdy, so I think that’s all good.It was smaller than I thought it would be (but to be fair, I didn't check the dimensions.) But the smaller size is big enough to cover my whole hand (and my hands are a pretty decent size.)It looks refillable, so that’s cool.The pen is quite fun to write with, too (though it’s not like a really fancy fountain pen.)I thought it smelled a little strange on the inside, but apparently that’s just the smell of new leather, so I won’t complain there. But just to mention: it does smell a bit on the inside, but it is not overpowering or gross.All in all, it’s a cute and pretty cheap journal. If you’ve been looking for an affordable little leather one, this is perfect.

it was much higher quality than I was expecting. I was very pleasantly surprised and will be purchasing this again. The details set this journal apart from others offered on amazon. The design on the cover is well executed and the place holder/book mark attached is sturdy and beautiful.I would highly recommend!

It's pretty. The inside is like a three-ring binder with brown paper, not the cream shown; the entire thing is very nice, but lacks those little touches that would make it a high-quality, 5 star notebook. Likewise, the pen is nice, but I would have liked to see a thinner point, better for writing and drawing. Not quite the quality I would give as a gift, but a lovely little treat for myself, especially with children around.

I don’t really use it, but I wanted a notebook that looked old and maybe like something that Indiana Jones might use. It fits the bill.

Absolutely love this journal. It's beautifully made and I love the pen that comes with it. I bought it because I wanted a small journal that I can take with me while traveling. I love the charms and the compass etched on the cover. I can't wait to use this for doodles and to jot done some notes.

It's so cute, I'm giving it as a birthday gift and it came on time. It has a gold pen with it that writes pretty well and the book itself is almost palm size
