Very impressed with this generator, it’s well built and sturdy, starts first pull and first crank of the electric starter. Had it running all day charging Leisure batteries ready for the evenings during the bank holiday weekend camping. Set it up about 25m away from camp, absolutely no problem with noise. Definitely well recommended for anyone wanting a quiet and compact generator.

Although it's not exactly light, the large wheels and comfortable handle make it easy to move around, and even lift up steps. That, together with the fact that a 3kW generator is never going to be light, lead to the four stars. My experience is that it starts flawlessly and is incredibly easy to use. The eco feature is great: it adjusts the engine RPM to match load, rather than churning out full power regardless of whether it is needed. In principle that must be saving fuel (although I have not measured how much); importantly, it makes a significant difference to the noise footprint.

As generators go, this is priced midrange but comparing it to say a Honda of similar capacity is an extremely good buy - it is as quiet and efficient as the Honda and though i cannot compare longevity i can buy 2 1/2 of these for the same money. The proportions also make it easier to store when not in use

Has never worked keeps saying over load even when nothing plugged in can’t return, cuts out as soon as choke pushed in. I’m fuming!!!

This unit seems well built and starts first time. compact and reasonably quiet. wheels and big handle make it easy to move around. operation is simple and electric start makes it easy for any age to start.

We bought this to charge our leisure battery bank about eight weeks ago. Some niggly issues at first perhaps due to running in (though no information in the handbook about running it in). These seemed to settle after a fortnight or so. Overall, it's a bit louder than we are used to, and uses a lot more fuel than our previous generators, but other than that, so far so good. It's easier to handle than I would have thought possible for this sized generator. The choke is a bit of an art-form though, and the electric start has to be removed from the generator (multiple screws) to recharge it, otherwise it can be started with the pull cord.Main issue has been trying to find out which fuel we should use. No advice on E5/E10 fuel in handbook or spec, and totally conflicting advice depending on who you speak to from vendor. The gist seems to be that it was made for E5 fuel, and although some of the advisors maintain that E10 won't harm the unit or reduce its longevity, some advisors say that it will.
