YakAttack TracPak Combo Kit with 2 Stackable Storage Boxes, Black

Love it! Lots of people complain about the snap on not being secure but I find both my boxes snap on just fine, maybe they got a defective one? Idk, I like it, just grab this and go fishing!

Excellent Product

Love it

Works perfectly on my kayak. You are paying a little more for the brand name. Built really well and easy to install.

I love YakAttack products. This is garbage. I had very high hope for this product, but it’s terrible. The latches don’t hold the lid close, and the quick release base should be called the auto release base. The slightest bump in the confined space of a kayak and the boxes come off. They are also not waterproof. There are visible gaps in the construction. And oh, you owe me some Gamakatsu hooks, some tungsten bullet weights, some bass jigs, some pliers and a line cutter. Slight (very slight) bump and into the river it went. And of course popped open. You should be embarrassed to sell this product. Oh, the size is good and what I wanted. What a terrible experience.

First let me say the YakAttack boxes themselves are great. But, I bought and received two double tracpaks and both had a broken top clip on the same side. I'm rating the boxes themselves and it would be 5 stars if the had gasket adhesive that wasn't always so sticky even in cooler weather as it gets on your fingers if you touch around the gasket (I circled the area in pics). There where no broken pieces in the box, so it was put in the box broken, poor quality control on a packers behalf whether Amazon or the original shipper, these need better protection when handling. I ordered replacements but my gut feeling says they may be broken also, if so I will be saving the non broken pieces and sending all the broken ones back together if that is the case. Not happy with the handling of these boxes somewhere down the line. 2 broken of the 4 in the same spot is something that needs to be addressed as Im sure this is a common problem as I see the broken ones being sold on another site by the same seller. Not their fault I'm sure, but the bad handling seems to be a major concern with this type of plastic box. As I said the boxes are great and very durable and the color is bright and always matching no matter what lot you end up getting, as I have more if these mounted on my kayak, and they fit together with a nice click. Also includes a gasket seal but the sides are not waterproof so its mainly straight down rain and splash resistant, but the gasket area is always a little sticky near the clip mounts from excess adhesive. But they keep my item at the ready and its very convenientto be able to swap the boxes quickly. They all are interchangeable and versatile, as I rotate these to the front mount from my YacAttack BlackPac as I need them. They must have been abused to break like this when new, YakAttack is fantastic and this would never be a concern at a shop. The value is there vs buying just a base as its about $24 without boxes. I included pics of my current boxes minus the broken ones as I have a bunch.

Exactly as described! Very solid, and has helped me declutter my fishing trips because I don’t have to bring my entire tackle box. Buy the inserts with them!! You can organize so much better! These are so convenient. Small enough to be out of the way, but just big enough to hold a bunch of gear!

Construction and item great except for bottom latch does not latch onto the boxes securely, worries me about putting on my kayak and losing over the side of it. Doing a product replacement to see if that's the problem with this item. UPDATE****** JUST RECEIVED MY PRODUCT REPLACEMENT, AND IT IS SECURE FEELS NICE AND TIGHT CAN'T WAIT TO USE ON MY KAYAK THIS WEEKEND.

Overall the item is good. The only thing is that one of the boxes cracked, broke the piece where the edges gets screwed together. It must be damaged during shipping. Still trying to contact seller and see if I could get a replacement box.

Work greats on a pelican catch 110 HD!

One of the top clips was broken when it came. I can still stack it with the other one but it just kinda sucks when you pay that kind of money that it comes and its broken. Also, didnt come with the inside trays... for that kind of money I feel like I got ripped off if i'm being honest.

These are brilliant. Exactly as described but are a bit expensive for what they are, plastic boxes. Works well on my kayak.
