The bulbs are quite bright especially on the daylight version. I got a mix of warm and daylight and chose where to put them. The are quite sensitive to movement and go off after about 60 seconds. Initially i thought this was a bit short, but , in fact, it is probably about right if you do not want them on other than for seeing where you are going.I originally had lights on all night for the staircases after my mother had an accident in the dark many years ago whilst coming down stairs in a strange house and not knowing where the light switches were. 5 led bulbs in total, not a massive cost but these bulbs have solved the problem to reduce wasted energy without any changes to the wiring at all. I could even remove the dusk to dawn sensor that was installed originally, as everything is built into the light. Very pleased so far.

This item was for a small walk in wardrobe. The light fitting was bayonet type, but the bulb is screw in fitting, so I had to purchase an adaptor to fit the bulb in. It works very well, motion sensor is very good, and the bulb turns off after 50 seconds if I forget to turn the light off. I recommend this item.

Please note that although some reviews say these lamps can auto switch in enclosed shades, they cannot.The PIR sensor built into the top of the bulb detects a change in temperature to activate and it can't do that if there is a shade covering the sensor. Also they are not water resistant so not really suitable for "outside" lights unless they are fully enclosed which then stops them working properly. I ended up having to fit an external sensor for my outside light. You live and learn!

The light is bright and lights our front door area really well, however the sensor seems to be faulty as it keeps turning on even when there's nothing outside to trigger it 😞Can't yet comment on longevity as we've only been using the bulb for a week, but of it keeps going off then it won't last as long as it should

I bought these to put in my outdoor light at my back door. Works great and is really bright. My only issue is that I need to keep the light constantly switched on. There may be another way around this that I haven’t thought of. Overall I’m glad I bought the bulbs. I. Considering putting the other bulb in a lamp in the upstairs hall.

Hi please note if you are using it in an outside light then if the bulb is behind glass then it will not provide motion detectionI confirmed this with the supplierIt sort of makes it irrelevantI wasn’t going to leave a review but when I got the confirmation from the supplier that it will not work inside a glass dome for outsideYou are hardly going to have it exposed to the elements.

Excellent value for money. I’m always leaving the toilet light on and so this will help for the fact if I leave the light switch on then as soon as I enter the toilet the light comes on and stays on whilst I’m in the room.Once I left the room the light went off after a certain amount of time ( I forgot to count )However the bulb is so clever that during the day until sunset the light will not come on and once it is late evening then it will detect your movement.Such a great money saver and a great idea especially if your like me and leave the lights on.

Great bulbs good price and very effective.Handly to put in toilets or landings saves electricity ideal with family with young kids who don't turn lights off 😃
