Mechanics of Materials, 7th Edition

Overall the book is fine with slight water damage, but the appendices and answer section for chapters 1-3 have been ripped out. The pages go to 831 then pick back up at AN-3. [iii,831] union [AN-3,I-6]

Textbook is fairly well set up but to be honest the class I was taking didn't really use it that much. I mostly used it for reference/additional practice problems.

I got a B in my Strength of Materials class, so I'm giving this book the B it gave me.

Bought this for my son.

I needed this textbook for my engineering class. I was able to learn pretty well straight from the book. Diagrams throughout the book were very clear. I would have liked to have harder examples instead of just the basics of each chapter but I guess that is not really how textbooks go anyway. But the book was definitely much easier to understand than my teacher so I relied heavily upon it for the semester. Overall I gave the book three stars.

Turns out that only the front cover is color

I'm not sure if this was a copy directly from the publisher - the type and printing quality on some pages makes me think it is a knock-off.It's a required text for school.
