I was looking for a feeder that could withstand my crafty food motivated female cat. I previously owned a wopet feeder that ending up being too top heavy and my cat could knock it over or using her paw to turn the impeller that dispensed food. The wopet feeder even had a manual feed button on the front that my cat would headbutt to vend food.. whyyyy?! I'm pleased to report that this feeder has none of those problems. It's a stockier feeder so it's hard to knock over. It's feed buttons are on the side and requires you to hold them to dispense food manually. Also the cat can't reach a impeller to vend food.It even has a dessicant (oxygen absorber) you can add to keep food fresh in the feeder. I ended up buying some replacements that you can heat up to reuse as a cost saving measure. This pet kit feeder includes a HD camera and a speaker and microphone if you want to talk to your cats or set recorded messages during feeding times. You can set detailed feeding times and has an easy way to stop a feeding in case you want to feed them wet food. The app can be somewhat buggy at times but never for more than a minute since it fixes itself. It will bother you about signing up for the petkit+ service to see video recordings and make vlogs to music of their activities in front of the camera. This feature is not necessary to tap into the camera and see them however.At just over 100 dollars this feeder was a good purchase. I would highly recommend it over the other options listed on Amazon.

When I first recieved this feeder it wouldn't connect to the app at all. But after taking to Petkit support they sent a replacement base out and that worked perfectly! Usually when I have to talk to support about a product I deduct stars but I really appreciate that Petkit just sent replacement parts without me having to send anything back first. They solved my issue in the most convenient way for me. The feeder itself is great, large enough for my two cats, reliable with despensing food and very smart. Tells you when to replace the desiccant packet and when the feeder runs out of food. Camera works good too. It also has a battery backup so your pets still get food even if the power goes out. Overall Petkit makes great products that may be pricey upfront, but are built well and are genuially useful.

The video is very helpful. I can go out for a week and can see my cat everyday.

The feeder works great and serves its purpose. The App and notifications of the pets activity is what we were looking for. Notified when fed, when the pet is eating with the built-in camera allowing view for when your away. A little piece of mind.

The media could not be loaded. It did not pair/setup with my Samsung A-something phone. My friend was able to get it using iPhone... I think he will need to come back for firmware update lol For this reason, 1 star for easy to useHowever!! I love this device. Good video and 2 way audio. I never have to worry if the sitter forgot to feed them. I won't have to worry if they accidentally filled the kibble dishes with treats. If an intruder comes through they are busted, instant text notifications.See my video, adult brother and sisters sharing treats. They are loving the dual compartment feature.

I love watching my babies at their most favorite time of day. EATING! I love my cats and want to be sure they have the best of everything including health. I’m able to easily track who’s the little piggy of the bunch and modify their diets as needed. I’m able to make profiles of each cat and get their specific amounts of food needed to maintain a healthy weight. You can andd your brand of food and get calculations specific to the brand. It’s most definitely worth the money! This is the coolest little device ever!! I also bought the new water fountain released by this company as well.There are food safe desiccants packets you can buy to keep the food fresh for long periods. I have to admit the pet kit desiccant packs is a little expensive for 5. So I found my own that are also food grade for much cheaper with more packs on here. They work fine. The material of the machine is nice. It doesn’t require much cleaning for me yet. My 3 cats seem to fit comfortably at it starting with the 9 month old to the 4 year old cat. Very versatile. Performance wise, it can go wireless, but I choose to keep mine plugged in. Less to remember lol. Everyone enjoys this product, including my husband and I.
