This blood glucose kit comes with everything you need to start testing your glucose immediately. It's accuracy is excellent, have a very big numbers, you can identify all your events ( before and after meals, excercise.) . Besides also have the bluetooth feature that sent your data to all your devices. Excellent meter and is a must have for diabetic people.

So, I made sure I checked the calibration of the low end and it fell right in the middle numbers of the test strips. I then took my blood sugar and compared to the monitor that I was replacing the reading was about 30 poi ts higher. It has tested this way for a few days always being around 20 to 30 points higher than my old one. So, I tried something new. I tested my blood sugar with the new monitor and then again with the new monitor not 20 seconds later. It shocked me, the first reading was 171 and the second was 150. There is no way your blood sugar changes that much that quickly. I took both of my meters to the doctors office and we took my blood sugar with their calibrated unit and then with both of mine. The doctors read 118, my old one read 119 and the new one that I just bought here read 167. Talk about false information and potentially it can even mess someone up medically. We performed the test again and once again the new meter here read 20 to 30 points higher. Don't take the chance with this new meter. I bought it for the Bluetooth data transfer but I will just go back to writing it down manually.

This glucose monitor is so easy to use. I love that the kit comes with everything you need to accurately and quickly check your blood sugar. I love that I can keep track of your readings through the app on your phone. It makes it so much easier to share your readings with your dr. I did compare this monitor to my other one and it came up with the same numbers.

This glucometer is smaller than I expected, it fits well in the hand. I do find the strips to be a little hard to put in, but it does come with a lot of extra strips. The results are easy to read and accurate. It comes with a nice case and everything you need to check your sugar.

The biggest expense of using a glucose meter is not the glucometer itself but in the ongoing expense of buying test strips to use with it. Replacement test strips for this meter are available for as low as 19 cents per strip on Amazon, which is very good. The free app that can be paired with this glucose meter is very useful. The primary reason I am using a meter at this point is to identify which foods spike my blood sugar. Then I will know which foods to avoid so I can lower my A1c. You can set up the app with your typical meal times, and then when the data from the glucose meter syncs with the phone app, glucose readings are recorded as “before lunch,” “after lunch,” etc. If one of the meals that day did not fall within your usual meal time, you can edit the meal listed for that particular meal. You can also add notes to each glucose reading. I am recording what each meal consisted of in the “notes” section for an after-meal testing (see photo). As a result, I am able to see at a glance where my blood glucose has spiked and what foods had been eaten to cause the spike. My doctor put me on a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) for 10 days, and the readings from the CGM match the readings on this Embrase Wave+ monitor exactly, so I am very satisfied that the Embrase Wave+ is accurate. This testing kit is very, but not totally complete. The only missing piece is concerning the control solution. Control solution is used to test to make sure the meter and test strips are performing as expected. This particular meter uses two types of control solution; many meters only have one control solution. The control solution for low readings is included in the kit, but the control solution for high readings is not. The control solution for low readings did indicate that meter was performing adequately. The only other slight negative would be that the pocket for lancets/alcohol swabs in the case closes with a bit of Velcro instead of a zipper, but that really is a minor matter of personal preference. The kit still is a very good one and has a very useful app.

The wireless makes monitoring my blood sugar level so much move convenient. They kit is easy t use.

This kit comes with everything you need, and the results are quick and easy to read. I love the bluetooth feature and that it keeps track of everything on your phone through the convenient app. Would definitely recommend!

I have only used this glucometer kit a couple of times, but so far it is working as expected. It comes with the glucometer, 6 packs of test strips (50 per pack), 3 packs of lancets (100 per pack), a lancing device, 1 bottle of control solution, and 1 carrying case. I initially wasted two test strips because I had inserted them the wrong way. To get this glucometer to read, you need to insert the test strip with the white side up. I have not used the app that it connects to as that isn't important to me. I just like having a back up glucometer kit to go along with my CGM. I always like to have a kit at my work or in my car.
