Excellent.
Having used the larger broom sticks purely for noise reduction while practising, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed playing with them. My only gripe was the width meant that you got the quietness but with reduced speed. These are much thinner and have more attack, giving me the flexibility that is lacking in the larger ones. Had I know initially there were two sizes I would have gone for these.

Broomsticks
Love them!Great soundsUseful item to have in the drum stick bag armoury.These "sticks" particularly sound good on snare drums but if you are a percussionist these sound great on Congas and Cajons as well.

Bought to enable me to play my acoustic kit without disturbing the neighbours, it does exactly that, through using the brushes in place of sticks. Only downside the thickness reduces speed of movement.
