Wonderful Thinking Skills Book for Children
Critical Thinking Skills for Smart Kids is a brilliant little book to teach young kids various thinking skills. Chronological skills, observation skills, cause and effect, pattern recognition, logic, etc. These aren't typical skills focused on at young age but so important to their development. The author weaves these skill with wonderful illustrations, a compelling story, and fun activities. The questions and activities at the end of the chapters help clarify the skills demonstrated. I think this is a fabulous book for children.

A fun story for children about solving puzzles
I read this book to my 6 and 8-year-old grandsons. Some of the riddles and puzzles were a little hard for them. Some of the exercises were confusing and even after the answer was given some of the exercises didn’t make sense. The illustrations are great, and we had a good time answering the discussion questions at the end of each chapter. The book is good for teaching things like sequence and cause and effect in a fun way.

Absolute Gem to cultivate curiosity in young kids
My child was thoroughly engrossed from start to finish. The adventures of Quincy not only sparked her imagination but also enhanced the critical thinking skills. She particularly loved the riddles in the Puzzling Palace chapter. Every parent should consider this gem for their budding ones- keeps them engaged and help’s develop problem solving skills in an interesting way early in their life.

serves as both an entertainment portal and an educational tool, which is a rare find.
**Review of "Critical Thinking Skills for Smart Kids: Ignite the little detective in you" by Brainy Kids Press**"Critical Thinking Skills for Smart Kids: Ignite the Little Detective in you" is an exceptional book that masterfully interweaves storytelling and skill-building, catering to children's innate curiosity. Written by Brainy Kids Press, a name that already emphasizes nurturing intellect, this book serves as both an entertainment portal and an educational tool, which is a rare find. The book’s approach to critical thinking is comprehensive and transformative. By embedding exercises within engaging narratives, it cleverly avoids the pitfall of becoming just another academic workbook. Instead, children are enveloped in stories, all the while sharpening their deductive and problem-solving skills, perhaps without even realizing they're learning — a testament to the book's design.Diversity is the spice of life, and this book brings that ethos to its challenges. The wide range of puzzles ensures that no two exercises feel repetitive, constantly keeping young minds alert. The real-world scenarios, albeit fictional, ground the exercises in relatability, aiding children in drawing parallels between the challenges they face in the book and those in their own lives. One standout feature is the book's design around progressive difficulty. This ensures that young readers feel a sense of accomplishment early on, building their confidence, while the later challenges ensure they are constantly evolving and pushing their boundaries. The reflective discussions at the end of each chapter are a masterstroke, promoting introspection and encouraging children to understand their decision-making processes.Brainy Kids Press underscores the importance of critical thinking throughout the book. They present it as more than just a cognitive skill but as a foundational pillar for future learning, decision-making, problem-solving, and personal growth. The arguments put forth in favor of honing these skills at a young age are compelling and backed by the book’s content. In conclusion, "Critical Thinking Skills for Smart Kids" does more than merely teach; it ignites a spark of curiosity. It's a book that not only challenges the intellect but also nurtures the soul, fostering resilience and a love for learning. For parents and educators looking to equip their children with a robust mental toolkit, this book is a worthy addition to their shelves. In the vast sea of educational literature, Brainy Kids Press has crafted a beacon that shines brightly, illuminating the path for young detectives everywhere.

Fun read-aloud and analyze-together-with-your-child book
What I love is how, through short stories and fun activities, this book shows that it’s not always about the destination, but the journey and the memories gained along the way. It shows how life’s greatest treasures are not material possessions but the growth and wisdom gained through different experiences. The illustrations are over-the-top beautiful! As I was going through the individual activities, however, I found some errors. For instance, the Christmas carol, referred to in the Christmas chapter, is called Away in a Manger, not Away from the Manger. Even with some errors, this book is still beneficial. Just gives parent and child more to think through and discuss. It’s still a win.

an innovative approach
This book is innovative with nice pictures. It educates children and help with their critical thinking in a new way by providing a summary and asking questions at the end of each story. The stories themselves are also conceptually innovative. However, It is hard to say whether the children like it or not. Talking vegetables, jelly beans, and non-ordinary characters although is a new concept, but I am not sure of its successful connection with kids. The stories plot in my opinion are okay but not great. I recommend this book to the parents who wants to try new methods.

Love it!
I love the art, the colourfullness, the stories, the layout and the interactiveness of this book. It's so much fun to sit with my niece in the evening to play out one of the mysteries and work through it. It's the perfect level of difficulty for her to get stuck in and plenty of mysteries to make this book well worth it. I would highly recommend this to anyone!
