Stands Out from the Rest!
As a pro photographer/videographer for decades... always on the cutting edge of technology, I already have a lot of LED lights. But this light stands out, in many ways. The quality is tops! Beautiful fit and workmanship. Great light output - brighter than most. Smooth design. Lovely color output - full range white and fully customizable.I have been buying from Amazon for over twenty years. It is rare to find a seller who is as concerned and responsive to customers as this seller.Nothing is perfect in every single way, and no product I have ever purchased does everything I would like it to do or has every feature. This light is as perfect as I could expect. Not only is the light quality, quantity and battery performance more than I need, but the light has a particular feature that means a lot to me.. It balances perfectly at it's center! The weight of all the internal components somehow has been balanced so that with one single clamp at it's center, I can mount it perfectly balanced on a light stand. Which is important as I can quickly set it up and move it about during a shoot. I use just one of the cleverly designed featherweight clamps right in the center. I have marked that position with a sliver of white tape on each side of the clamp, so it takes an instant to set up. I can use two lights in a shoot, - one as the main light horizontal - for most images and gently angle it to wrap the subject as I desire.A second light I have mounted vertically - also with a single clamp - to a stand. That I strategically mount so that the vertical light spread is as I desire, while keeping the control panel just comfortably reachable to my hand. I keep the center of gravity set to a safe balance on the stand, so that it is virtually impossible to accidently tip over. When I first got these units I was terribly unhappy and frustrated, and almost returned them. However after reaching out to the seller, I found that all my issues could be addressed. My ORIGINAL issues were:The lock switch only affected the touch pad. And other controls inadvertently got operated regardless of how careful I or my assistant was. I wanted to be able to lock down all the mode options, and everything except the color temperature and intensity. In addition, the instruction manual was about 2x2 inches and absolutely useless - even with a high powered magnifying glass. It failed to explain anything. What ended up thoroughly impressing me, was how many times the seller responded to me. Not only did he care enough to clarify the instructions - with a promise to make a full sized and detailed user's manual available in the near future. MORE IMPORTANTLY TO MOST USERS - he sent me several firmware upgrades that reprogrammed the features so that it now operates exactly as I could have wished for! The lock button locks all but the controls that I requested. This makes the unit extremely useful while before it was practically unusable as light settings would go crazy wild just in normal handling. Now the units are stable and very professional. The battery lasts for an entire photo session -about three hours. My use is about thirty minutes on full power and most of the time between 30% and 50% power. Now that the lock button is useful, I can easily vary the power, or even pause the unit - into standby, without affecting the colors and modes! From my research recently this is one of the very brightest sticks, with it's own and seemingly largest battery and while also having a high RENDERING INDEX ! At probably the best price point.Over the last dozen years I have chosen NEEWER over other brands repeatedly due to their products seeming to have slightly more valuable features, possibly at the expense of other's brands greater advertising budgets!I do have a few concerns which I manufacturer/seller is aware of and says he wants to address:The company should sell accessories. One accessory I would love to see is a V-Mount Battery block. This unit's charger and A/C power supply outputs about 20-21 volts. Unlike other lights, this unit will not operate on the 14.5 volt of a V mount battery. However, it could operate on a bank made of MULTIPLE V-Mount batteries with a voltage controller. That would make this unit so much more exciting!!!ALSO I think the company should offer a deluxe model with snap out battery. It could be two batteries that snap out if that design would help it maintain is perfect balance. Snap out batteries would mean selling batteries as an extra, and also it would allow for a more expensive snap out model. POSSIBLY they could have two size batteries with larger batteries ( sold and used in pairs of course ) offering longer run times.I have to mention the app. I NEVER USE APPS on a shoot... I photograph events, and weddings and to focus on an app - is putting up a wall between myself and all the emotive forces I need to be sensitive to. BUT THE APP IS ESSENTIAL for FIRMWARE updates and probably to lock some features. I found the app to be buggy as others have said. HOWEVER by RESETTING iPhone BlueTooth. And by resetting the light BT itself which is done by holding down the 2.4 button ( middle top row of buttons ) till the display spins - the app connects perfectly and effortlessly and firmware can be updated! ) Again, I trust that soon to be released full sized instruction manuals - will clearly document all the buttons operations. So my bottom line is that I am not at all worried by the app's performance as it is only needed for initial setup or occasional update. One last point. The unit does have one obvious issue. I cannot say it is a flaw. It could be a feature. The battery is not removable and while - I am pretty confident a technical person could figure out how to remove and ultimately replace the cells - due to the beautiful design and perfect balance, the unit has not been meant to have the batteries replaced. On the one hand, if the batteries are well chosen quality cells, and with the right treatment, they could easily outlast the technology. I imagine that eventually one might want a later model of lights. Though I am hard-pressed to imagine a feature these miss. Only thing I could possibly think of is even greater light output which if the batteries' capacity was increased to match without increasing weight or bulk - well more is always more. But the beauty of these types of lights is when they are used very close to the subject/object being photographed. So there is some limit to desired intensity. Beyond just a bit more output - it would be unpleasantly bright for many subjects, and if moved away - well the quality of light would change - it would no longer be a broad light source, and then one could use a host of other lighting options.I understand that many photographers use light modifiers, diffusion sheets, etc . What I specifically love about these lights is that their raw quality with the built in default light "bulb" is so lovely and useable, that as a minimalist - I love it just as it is!I know that the more you appreciate light - the more you will love this very useful lighting tool!

Perfectly versatile
This is an amazing light. Easy to use both manually and also by using the Neewer app. Brightness levels are insane. It is a bit on the heavy and cumbersome side to move around, but not overly fragile. Battery life is good, although I've never run the battery down. It's held for at least 4 hours, which is the longest I've ever needed it for a shoot. I love all the ways this can be used whether in production or simply lighting a space in our home. Great product.

Pretty cool tube light, without breaking the bank
My use case is a home office YouTube studio to produce talking head content. Once I discovered tube lights, I loved the idea but the "pro" level ones seemed ridiculously expensive for my needs. This particular one is great--it's big enough for my small office and I've picked up some smaller lights from Neewer and have some really cool lighting options now. If you need to use it for daylight/5600k, this tube has you covered. There's also an app where you can dial in RGB colors (they also have some "gel" presets) and then it has the effects that I will never use, but they're there.I'm not using these for run-and-gun projects so I've literally set them up, connected them to power and they just work. They claim 2 hour battery life at 100% power and from the one time I tried that, I can say that's pretty accurate. The only downside to these lights (and all of the other ones I have from Neewer) is they don't always reliably connect to the app. Sometimes the only way to get them to connect is to delete them from the app and connect again. It's a bit of a pain, but I can live with it. Once they are connected, they seem to work fine, I'm just not sure I would feel super confident using these to shoot a wedding or something important that wasn't in a studio setting. As mentioned, I bought this light, it's lived inside in the same spot and has worked just fine (minus the BT issue). For the price, it's just fine for my needs.

Awesome stick light
This thing is great, serves its purpose in the photography field as expected. But this thing is great in many ways, painting a room and needing full light, outdoor accent lighting for a party, etc. list goes on. Battery lasts a while and all kinds of functions accessible to the user

Versatile and fun!
I needed an extra light for my setup, either as a hair light or to add some color contrast. This light does it perfectly! The app connects easily, is easy to use and has seemingly endless options in terms of colors and strengths. The battery holds a great charge as well, finding myself using this for hours at a time without draining too much. This light has been an asset in my lighting setup and definitely looking to add another 1 or 2 for even more dynamic lighting setups.

Very versatile and portable light source
This tube light is pretty versatile and has lot of options in terms of color and brightness, etc. I've been using it as a portable light source, and sometime it can also work well as fill light along with other LED lights.
