Great for freezing leftovers!

These are sturdy containers, like hot-food deli or takeout containers, not like the thin cold-food deli containers. They are clear, so you can easily see what you've got. The lids fit securely, but are not difficult to remove. The containers themselves are very heat-safe, and do fine in the microwave. The lids can get a little deformed in the microwave, or when storing extremely hot food, but they still work. (They just don't stack so nice.) I routinely carry lunches like soup and chili in them and have not had trouble with them leaking. They are sturdy enough that it would take significant crushing to pop them open.I've only occasionally gotten heavy takeout soup containers that were sturdier than these (with more heat-safe lids) but these are very good. For the price I am very happy with them. We got a case of the medium sized containers, and were very excited to replace all our random yogurt and sour cream containers with mismatched and poorly fitting lids. We will be be buying the larger and smaller size also, so we have just one type of lid for everything.

Perfect for soups or smaller food items to take on the go. I also use these to grow plants from the seed. Multi-use the say the very least!

I make large pots of soup and gumbo and these are perfect for storing the leftovers. I can package them in just the right amounts to pull one out of the freezer and have a fast lunch. I gave these a 4 instead of a five because I needed them to be a little sturdier, but they are a good value. : )

I have purchased these previously and reordered based on their excellent quality. The lids are truly airtight, the contents stay fresh, and the containers do not leak. They are durable in the refrigerator and in the freezer. A quality product. I will continue to reorder as needed.

Absolutely what I needed to freeze & microwave meals, especially soups. The lids seal tight. They are sturdy! Great food storage items! Highly recommend for soups, pastas, snacks, etc
