Great Product
I rebuild engines in my shop and i got tired of doing it on a pallet so i bought one of these and its a great product Vevor makes awesome products for a great price i bought the 3/4 ton one and am rebuilding 6.6 duramax engines with it and its really sturdy its a bit of a challenge rotating it but i am 6ft 200lb and i can do it myself since then i have bought 2 more of these

works great
assembled nicely and works great. I am using it for a 4 cylinder engine and had to modify the mounting arms so they were closer together

Tougher than Harbor Freight
This is holding a 12v Cummins. Is a little noodley but it will suffice to disassemble and reassemble. Had to do a little cutting on the plate to make it fit the side mount on the Cummins but it’s pretty well balanced. I won’t be rotating it without supporting it with chain falls from the overhead.

Ok for the price, fair on quality.
Packaging is too flimsy for the weight. The box was partially there when it arrived. I was surprised all the components were there. The leg support was dragged on concrete at some point as the paint is missing and the metal has deep scratches. The assembly was simple. The assembly hardware is cheap. I recommend getting better hardware for assembly.

Decent stand for the price.
Nice and heavy stand, the 1300 pound one holds my all-iron SBC 5.7 vortec with no issues. Spinning it back topside again with the heads and intake on is not easy, I used my lift to help, maybe a longer bar on the stand might have helped with leverage, it comes with one about 2' long. For those who said the stand droops or breaks, the pictures make it seem like the upright was installed backwards in those cases -- the upright has to lean back away from the engine. If it's installed reversed, leaning forward toward the engine, the weight stress multiplies and I'm sure it won't hold the engine correctly. At least for the 1300 pound version. That said, the instructions are basically one exploded part diagram and are not clear. There is no step by step. It's not rocket science to put it together, but I'm not surprised people are installing the upright the wrong way.

Very unstable
Terrible product. Pin barely fits into folding leg and when it is in place the thing is so crooked it only rests on three wheels leaving the fourth over a 1/2” off the ground. This makes the stand very unstable. Not impressed at all. Save your money

Poor Quality, Poor Packaging.
As an engine stand it works. The quality however is very lacking. Parts are welded off center, power coating has chips all over. Box arrived torn open because it’s not double boxed to ship. Nothing is placed over the sharp metal parts to prevent it from tearing through. I suppose it’s a case of you get what you pay for. I know it’s cheap, but it shouldn’t look used out of the box. Also be careful with assembly. The tube stock is very thin and lacks bolt sleeves so it is very easy to bend if you tighten the bolts too much. Just snug everything, if you try to tighten until the nut stops it will deform the parts.

I’ve had a powerfist stand before until it broke holding a sbc. This one is a way better stand and very sturdy holding a 6.0 ls currently.

This stand is amazingly sturdly and strong for the price. I use it for a AD4-203 Perkins (approx.400 lbs block). Turning the engine is dangerous . To turn the engine around, need two persons and a 4 feet extension bar over the 2 feet bar provided. The black bars provided to bolt on the engine should be tagged IN LARGE LETTERS ; ATTENTION - ATTENTION SECURELY BOLT ON THE ROTATING PLATE. I can not see using it for a 1,000 lbs engine block AFTER. MORE. USE…. I upgraded to 5 stars as it is extremely strong. For the price this is a very strong engine stand. I still believe that putting a 1000 lbs engine block would be dangerous, unless you have a couple of helpers around.

I like how well built it is for the money but as many have mentioned, the base is welded on crooked, I have to fight hard with my OCD to live with it, so will most likely cut it and reweld it again at some point but for now it will have to do.
