20100 T Slot Aluminum Extrusion for 3D Printer Parts and CNC DIY Black 600mmX2

These extrusions arrived on time and in good condition. They are exactly what I anticipated when I placed my order.

I got the 20100 T Slot Aluminum Extrusion for a couple of DIY projects, but I am not 100% on the final use! That is one of the nicest things about materials like this, is that you can repurpose them again and again, if so wanted.Having multiple DIY projects going on simultaneously is the number of options! Aluminum Extrusion can be used for so many things, as long as it is a quality extrusion. There is nothing worse than getting a ways through a build and discovering that something is out of whack. Hopefully, once you track down the culprit, it is an easy swap for a straight piece, or you may be doing some major disassembly. I speak from experience.The 20100 T Slot Aluminum Extrusion is good quality and blemish free. It is as straight as any extrusion I have used. While this particular size may not be the most common, I figured they would make a good base for a DIY 3d printer I am working on.So far, the 20100 T Slot Aluminum Extrusion is working out as expected and I am having no issues with it. As every cut is somewhat unique, some examples may be better or worse than the average. I have seen some really bad cuts end up with some pristine ones as well. The examples I received look great, are quality made and are perfect for my application. I can recommend them!

One of the rails had a protective plastic cover and seemed to be free from damage. I have not removed this cover as I intend to return it. The other rail, however, had no protective cover and exhibited multiple damages in various areas, rendering it completely unusable for my needs. Additionally, the package was already opened upon arrival.

Use as a base, platform, rear wall - whatever you can imagine. Standard size so it's compatible with almost everything. If you're ordering this, you already have a project in mind. Rest assured these are pristine and ready to go. The ends are exposed aluminum, not anodized.

I had to order a couple sets of this because corners were dented in shipping. Otherwise the product is great! Nice and straight.

It is not standard 20mm size. The slots are advertised as 11mm but are actually milled to less than 10mm. Ergo nothing designed for 20mm extrusions will fit this. Returning!!!
