Although advertised too work on Windows 8 it doesn't!

This is one of the worst games I ever have spent money on...Let's start with the activation: The software required email verification; however, when attempting this in-game, the software freezes. So I tried on their website. After pushing all the right buttons, no activation email arrived. Instead 4 of them appeared 4 days later... and all of them were expired... So I contacted customer service, who manually activated my account and told me this was a known issue. SO WHY DOES THE WEBSITE STILL ASK PAYING CUSTOMERS TO JUMP THROUGH HOOPS RATHER THAN ADVISING CUSTOMERS TO CONTACT SUPPORT?????When I could finally start the game, I was shocked by the graphics /controls. They would have been ok(ish) 10 years ago, but the world has moved on a bit. Shadows are completely unnatural, controls are clunky, and while I could give my games character a name, the gender defaulted to "Male" and could not be changed lol !!!Even worse, you are expected to figure out all controls with minimum in-game instructions and the "help" of a 60 page badly written PDF manual that must be opened separately (unless of course you are a clairvoyant...) For example, I get a smooth voice telling me that need to provide housing, but no hint on how to go about it ... I accept that I have to do this for business software, but this pile of junk is meant to be entertainment.
