Fun. Cute. Markers bleed through.

The media could not be loaded. I like the images in this book. They have a lot going on which I hope will keep my attention, because I tend to get sidetracked easily and then bored. The randomness in the images of this book captures my attention in every detail thrown in, so that’s cool.The pages are on the thin and smooth side, but the backs of the pages are blacked out. May need to use a different piece of paper to make sure the black doesn’t transfer into the picture behind it when I am coloring.There are only 41 pages of actual coloring pages. The description says 40, but I counted the page that says “this book belongs to __”, since it can be colored.

Love this coloring book! The pages don't bleed through as the backs of each page is black. Such cute patterns as well.

Cute patterns and like that the pages are one sided - but is NOT good for markers. The black backing on the pages makes coloring with markers (which DO bleed through to the next page unless you put a liner between) a bummer - the color is impossible to see correctly as you go - and really until fully dry - everything has a gray dull shaded cast to it because of the black-backing and the markers bleed a lot on the paper around where you’re coloring, making fine details impossible.

The media could not be loaded. I was specifically looking for a coloring book that did NOT have repetitive patterns like mandalas, because I want different things to color. I think I would get bored easily with similar/repeated patterns. This coloring book was what I was looking for.I bought the Prismacolor Premier 24 ct set and the matching sharpener (you WILL need to sharpen A LOT as you color haha). Because there are so many different scenes in this book, I do wish I bought the 36 ct colored pencil set instead so I have more color variety. The sharpener is superb as well. I love the two sharpening angles (wide or narrow) because I only like to use pencils that have a short wide point.Back to the book, again, the scenes to color are lovely. There’s a Test Color Page; the front cover is scored - meaning you can fold it down neatly so the page is flat when coloring; the pages themselves are not perforated, so you cannot tear it out - but each coloring page is one-sided.Lastly, on a personal note I bought this book because I am going through a tough time at home. My mind and body was/is riddled with stress and anxiety. This coloring book allowed my mind to focus on a single task for a short while without having my thoughts constantly stray back to stress. So if you’re going through a tough time, I just want to remind you that you are strong and you can do it. And, buy this coloring book.

I love this coloring book. It’s amazing and so fun to color. All the illustrations are so well done and interesting. By far the best coloring book I’ve ever owned!
