Brilliantly imaginative and creepy
As I get old and grumpy I am increasingly impatient with most of what I read, but this, like its two predecessors, is really excellent. Brilliantly imaginative and creepy. As with the previous two, loved it.

A thriller with so much mystery ends well!
I just finished reading "The Last Girl Podcast" by Allison Burnett. I read the first two books (Undiscovered Gyrl & Another Girl) in the series and recommend you read those two books also. I also recommend watching the movies made about the first two books (Ask Me Anything & Another Girl.) They haven't made the third movie yet, but I'm sure they will. The ending to this trilogy was very satisfying. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time! The Last Girl Podcast is written as a podcast, which was very effective. I could practically hear the sound effects prompts! The author, Allison Burnett, a man, has outdone himself in writing from the point of view of a young woman, and the story was original and kept me captivated. I kept thinking I knew what would happen when suddenly the author took me in a different direction. The ending was perfect and brought together the elements from the first two books - no loose ends whatsoever. I highly recommend the entire series to all seeking a mysterious and thrilling ride!

Perfect Finale
Truth be told, this is the best-written story in the series. It’s a great murder mystery that seamlessly builds off of the first two books and leads to a satisfying conclusion for the series. Not only does it put a bow on almost every major question in the series, but the author also found a very clever way to express his inspiration for Katy and how her tale relates to his thoughts about the internet. (Allison writes himself into the book, to great success as a meta narrative). It also made me feel better about my time with Another Girl (book 2), as this book builds the mystery of both Katy and Elle’s fate out and almost makes you wonder if these events are happening in the real world. This is a really creative, well crafted tale with excellent meta-commentary about fiction and the World Wide Web. Definitely the best of the three, and a great ending to boot. Read the series, this book will make every bit worthwhile. Well done, Mr Burnett. Well done.

Excellent Read!
This is Allison’s third installment of Katie Kampenfelt's disappearance. As Undiscovered Gyrl was a page-turner, this too is a book you won't want to put down. It is interestingly written as a podcast with a twist I did not at all see coming. Allison is a very intelligent writer - it’s a treat to follow the web he's created for his characters. A quick read, I would highly recommend it.

An ending satisfying & creepy
I've greatly enjoyed this trilogy (or should I say "thrill-ogy") -- the ongoing mystery that began in Burnett's first of the series "Undiscovered Gyrl,” continued in "Another Girl" and now this final chapter in the saga, "The Last Girl Podcast." Written in the form of a podcast script, it's a brisk, layered story that lags just a bit as it folds in events from the previous two books, but once all the pieces click into place, it's a nail-biting ride to the finish. I highly recommend reading the first two books before reading this one (not essential but...) because you'll enjoy this one all the more. And see the films that Novelist Burnett adapted from his own work and directed for the screen. Allison Burnett is brilliant, insightful and a cracking good storyteller. Get ahold of "Last Girl," and let it get ahold of you for a weekend of very satisfying reading!
