It may not look fancy, but it doesn't have to. It has the balance to make up for it. Just enough weight so you don't feel like you have to do all the work, and light enough not to fatigue. It also has a built in sharpener in the push button. Love the Swiss.

As you would expect from Caran D' Ache, Good build quality nice looks, Comfortable. The only thing I would have preferred to have a different button then the red one it came with. I know it corresponds with the lead grade, But it takes away from the look of the pencil!

This pencil seems to be good so far. It's nice and light and comfortable. Feels like a regular pencil for the most part but with that nice sleek finish. The lead feels nice and sturdy and I do like to be able to interchange lead grades easily. Overall a great buy!

Old-school mechanical pencil with it's own pencil sharpener is a graphic artist dream come true. Always on point though the sharpener does take some getting use to. Wish it came with a contrasting red tip but had to go on Ebay for that. Vignelli's favorite tool. And now mine.

This lead holder is a classic for a reason. It's got enough heft to be comfortable to use, but not so much as to be awkward. Great balance, good incorporated sharpener, and a few options for color or cap color so you can use a few with different leads without confusion.

this is a great clutch pencil , and if you don't use a rotary sharpener it will probably be fine .if however you do sharpen your 2mm leads with a rotary sharpener like the steadleter , dont bother because it wont fit. odd length of lead too but thats not too much of an issue .a major issue is , you cant chose the cap color , and you roll the dice wither you get one with the textured grip . i could have forgiven the 2 of the negtitives listed here but not all 3 at that price point .the cap has a nice lead pointer , that works fairly well , much better then the usual
