Yes, confusing for UK buyers. However, if it helps, I bought two pairs of 2XL trousers some time ago. I am 6 foot tall with a 30 inch waist. They fit well and - because they are very lightweight - have served me well in the summer months. No inch tape to hand but I’d estimate the trouser leg length to be 33 inches.
