LED Lightning USB Data Cable for Android Phone

The media could not be loaded. I got this item from a local department store on a whim. I wanted a micro usb charging cable that lit up and the one I wanted was out of stock so I was given this one from the store associate as a substitute. Once I plugged it into my car charger, I noticed that the LED lights were strongest at the usb base and the micro usb end, but the lighting was unevenly scattered along the rest of the cable where some of the LED lights on the cable just didn't light up at all. I went back to the store to replace it. Before I took it back for a replacement, I went to the aisle where the product was sold and got several packages to test. I plugged the cords into a nearby usb charger and found that the same defect of uneven lighting plagued most of the stock. After going through about 3-5 packages, I finally found one where the LED lighting looked pretty even. I bought it and when I plugged it into my car, this time, the lighting along the USB cable was even. Both ends glow with the same color at times and other times the colors aren't the same at either end but the colors gradually change along the entire cable. It's a really soothing effect and the charging works just fine as any micro usb cable should. The lighting is helpful for finding my cable at night, and even in the daytime, it really stands out.
