The biggest issue I find with this is just how light this is. When you're try to joing to pieces of filament, this things slides all over the place. It could have done with being way heavier. I have to use food cans to keep it still - especially when trying to join filament that has a tight curve in it (such as the centre piece of the roll).However, it DOES work IF (and I stress IF) you manage to keep the filament straight AND level with the heating plate - otherwise you end up with extreme bends or kinks where the filament goes into the splicer.It's fiddly to use, and to be honest, Sunlu have just announced a product that looks way better than this for less money and that will make the process easier.

Looks solid and well made, only thing wrong is there isn't a UK adapter plugso cannot use till I buy,one very big mistake for people buying this product in the UK

Keep watch when you have this plugged in, it tripped the circuit breaker as I plugged it in and felt a little tingleing in my hand? If I did not have the Circuit Breaker installed I do not know what would have happened. It is also missing the timer which it shows is included, on two minds to send it to back or to send it to the trading standards authorities for testing.

It seems to be the normal thing with Amazon to send out previously returned goods and without even checking the items first. The item was obviously a returned item due to the opened security seal, the broken inner box of the timer, the broken bag of the joinner itself and the FINGERPRINTS all over everything inside. I was about to return but decided to try it out anyway. The item does actualy work very good although the timings had to be altered for some filaments. A pity the item doesnt come with a uk plug as you will have to buy a universal adapter to use this item first.

Incredibly poor product. Very basic item that comes with a cheap timer. Following the cheap instructions provided, the best results I've had is a half hearted connection that I didn't trust to go through an extruder. Tried nearly 20+ times with various pla petg pla +, all with same result.

so disappointed to find no UK adapter sent it back as totally useless.

- Lieferung wie immer pünktlich- Verpackung o.k.- Achtung - Bedienungsanleitung vom Google-Übersetzer !!- Das Gerät funktioniert wie beschrieben- Beispiel PTEG -- beide Filamentenden in der Zange mittig positionieren, Aufheizzeit ca. 2 min, dann kurz beide Enden "zusammendrücken", dann einfach abschalten, 4-5 min abkühlen lassen, etwas überschüssiges Filament "klebt" noch mit den verbundenen Filamentenden etwas in der Form, lässt sich aber problemlos herauslösen, an der Verbindungsstelle lässt sich das überschüssiges aufgeschmolzene Filament leicht entfernen und damit eine ideale Verbindung herstellen

Schnelle Lieferung und es macht was es soll 😄

Das Schweißergebnis ist gut, nur geringe Nacharbeit.Es ist schwierig die Zange, die beiden PLA Enden festzuhalten u. gleichzeitig den Strom ein u. auszuschalten. Eine Befestigungsmöglichkeit an der Zange auf dem Tisch, Werkbank ist Vorteilhaft.

Leider wurde der beschriebene Timer nicht mitgeliefert.

Die Theorie ist gut, bin auch darauf reingefallen, einfach ist anders, verbrannte Finger, in der Maschiene abgebrochene verbundene Filaments. Nicht kaufen!
