It’s not leather, it’s not ballistic nylon, and no, it won’t look brand new forever if you throw it into rough environments. But it’s also not supposed to be some heavy-duty, ultra-rugged material. This is a minimalist, stylish MagSafe wallet — and when used as intended (in everyday normal conditions), it holds up surprisingly well.I use mine daily — removing it from my phone when I need wireless charging, popping it back on when I head out, sliding it in and out of pockets and bags — and even after all that, it still looks good. Sure, there are some minor signs of wear, as you’d expect from any wallet after half a year, but nothing dramatic or ugly. The stitching is intact, the magnetic connection is still strong, and the material hasn’t frayed or fallen apart.What I really appreciate is the balance of form and function. It fits snugly on my iPhone with a compatible MagSafe case, it holds my essential cards (ID, credit card, and a backup), and it does so without bulking up my pocket or ruining the phone’s sleek design. Failed after exactly same amount of time and the same way, same location like the previous leather magsafe wallet, right before the warranty expire.At this point, I tend to think the paint which at a later time will literally work like paint soften and smudge everything, is an example of planned obsolescence.Notice what you are looking at is edge paint might be justifiable with leather, which even then they should use acrylic to do properly, there's no way to justify this on a fabric construction.Apple's own accessories often come with better tolerance and qol details, but on this one the detail is meant to be against customer.Their customer service confirmed all magsafe wallet have this kind of paint, and they won't be either refund or rma one without such issue, warranty won't even work without the planned obsolescence reset to happen in the next 9 months.I strongly suggest people to reconsider buying accessories from apple given their approach.

I got this for my husband and he loves it! He used to misplace his cards and ID all the time, but this wallet has really helped keep everything in one place. The MagSafe connection is strong, and the Find My feature gives us peace of mind in case it gets lost. The material feels premium and looks great too, definitely a smart and stylish upgrade!

Has never slipped off my phone. I use it for my work phone as a business card holder. Better price on Amazon.

It stays on very well, will hold about 4 cards. I like the find my feature in case it ever falls off

So far so good! My sons both have/had the leather version of this wallet- and LOVE IT! We were sad they don’t make leather anymore, but this is not replacement. It looks nice and seems to hold up well so far (2 months in). Will update after 6 months.

You have to remove the wallet from the phone to charge the phone.
