Warm and comfy!
This robe is super warm and comfy! I followed the reviews for size as I have a hard time finding robes that fit for a tall person. I ordered an extra large figuring that it would fit to my ankles. Well it didn't disappoint! All the way to the floor! Lol However it wraps around me at least twice! I have worn it as a blanket when I got bone chilly. (The kind that won't go away) Nice and warm!Thankfully I have a cousin who is much larger than I but the same height. She can not wait to get herself into this robe! I will happily ablige! I hope she loves it as much as I wanted to!

high quality
I wear medium but like large cozy bath robes. So, after reading reviews, ordered X-large. Right after receiving, thought it is too huge and bulky. Washed it right away on hot wash/dry; it did not generate too much felt. It shrinked overall (~2" in height; it was up to the floor initially; I am 5.6). While still very roomy, it became slightly denser, very soft and as cozy as a robe can get. Plum color remained as is and looks nice. Also, the hood is very roomy. Loops for the belt are on two levels, which is convenient. Before washing, both were too low for me. after washing the top ones are right for me. Overall, highly recommended.

Love it!!!!
The size and the weight of the terry…is great… a heavier terry.would be much too heavy! It’s great to wrap up in after a soaking tub!

Sizing Depends on How You Wear your Robe
Shrinks: This robe shrinks a full size. Label says wash in cold water but I washed in hot because let’s face it someday I will forget and wash it in hot anyway. Might as well see what happens.Size Matters: I am 5’6” and 130lbs and i ended up with an XL. I wear my robes with bare legs so I want them to wrap around far enough to not feel drafty. The Large fit out of the box but after shrinkage I got more drafts than I wanted. After washing, XL fits like the Large out of the box. And retained the floor length I was after. Yes, I look like Jedi in my giant robe, but a giant Jedi with warm legs. Might get me a light saber to go with it.Quality TBD: I agree with other reviewers that the fabric is not as heavy as higher end terry robes. It is thick though. And strings and fuzz do appear even after first washing. I’m a little worried it might look ratty after a year, instead of 15 like the old time quality robes.I’m deciding to keep the robe because I couldn’t find a better quality robe that is floor length with a hood that was not white. White is nice for the spa but not the inevitable spilling of coffee because it’s 5am and you’re damn tired.

Luxurious
Thick & absorbent. A real treat. I debated spending this much on a bathrobe but I'm really glad I did.

Beautiful robe, but sizing smaller than expected
I wear a size 16-18 US dress size, and this robe didn't close all the way at my knees. It did at the chest, so I'm lead to believe the cut of the robe is straight rather than A shaped, which it should be to preserve modesty. There should be a substantial overlap of the two sides and there is none.

Very luxurious feel and look.
I ordered an XL, as I wear a 14 and am using this for showering and my hot tub - but it is REALLY big. I'm keeping it and it works great, but if I had it to do over, would order a size down. It is super soft and has a silky feel; not quite as "thirsty" as a scratchier 100% cotton would be, but worth it for the feel :).

Update on this review: might keep it. But Material does not say Turkish cotton
Originally got another Turkish cotton on Amazon but the size was like XXXXXL (not one size fits all) the fabric in that one was thicker and more tight knit material. This one I opened the box and was disappointed as the fabric isn’t the same as what I was hoping for: but after sitting it in the box to return my partner told me: you need a robe just try and let me see it on. I got it out a second time from the box and in the end we might keep it after all. This one is soft, not super luxury feeling,‘it’s more “comfy” light and fluffy but doesn’t have the same softness. It’s still a great softness just doesn’t feel like what I’ve had before as Turkish cotton material. But I could be wrong, might just be a lower grade then I’ve had in the past. It has a good waist line as other robes had the tassel holes at way too low down the body and felt mannish. It has two length options: even better, for shorter or taller, this has you covered. This one has a ok look but not as polished and opens a bit if I don’t tuck it first when I sit down- haha it’s cause I’m so cold as our house heats up in the morning so I might size up... I’m 6’7” and 120lbs size M but wish I got L as I like oversized. The colour is a plum maybe rose mauve tones? It’s really nice in my opinion very unisex and can go with any skin tones! Great for finally finding a good colour selection for the robes! I would pay extra $$$ to get slightly better luxury fabric, , the length is also really perfect as I was so worried it might be trippy. Feels like your putting on a nice comfy towel and the hood is a nice feature as well as the pockets.. However There are slight machine damage marks down some of the fabric in thin lines of bare material.it doesn’t seem to have the most tight knit thread or thread count, but it’s pretty fluffy. The tag simply says « cotton » not “Turkish cotton”. Made in turkey could be the robe itself being constructed there, but is it with purchased 100% cotton material that is not from turkey. I’m questioning it but the robe is a nice quality overall. It’s not cheap cotton by any means. But it’s not exactly what I was searching for. Yet at this price: I’ll say it’s a pretty good deal overall. Some of the seams are a little off and or crooked but not too bad.. Heart set on a non white hôtel quality Turkish cotton robe but sadly going to keep searching but might keep this one anyways for the spring hot tub season I feel it will be absorbent and comfortable . Check picks,
