I purchased this item to wrap wires and close vents to protect from packrats. The wire is thin but that is by design as it is supposed to deture pack rats or mice from chewing. The roll was as expected and described but only time will tell if it worked for my application.

If you already have mice inside your house, this product will not keep them from chewing holes in order to escape.Had an issue with mice in water heater exhaust. Couldn't flush them all out of system reliably but used this product to seal vent. Mice repeatedly chewed through up to eight layers of mesh in order to escape. Product was useful in that it slowed them down and left a visible indicator of passage.Once I eradicated the mice from inside, this hopefully will discourage new ones from entering - but again, at least it'll show me that we've had a mouse return. So it's somewhat helpful, and eventually useful, but if mice REALLY want to get through it, they will.

The copper mesh roll worked very well for what I needed it for. I had a couple of pipes that had space where the pipes came out the wall.That was a problem because I would have spiders and whatnot coming out the wall since it was located in a basement room. I used the copper mesh to fill in the spaces and used a silicone sealant to seal the top.Mesh worked well and kept the insects out!Well worth the purchase.

Was easy to cut and the roll seems to be lasting a long time. Used it to fill holes to keep rodents out of the house,, knock on wood we haven't seen any in the house again.

The product came as expected, is at the same quality level as others I've used in the past and the mesh works well to keep out pests when used in appropriate circumstances.
