It is a complete set with carrying case and accessories. I previously had a chrome pole but opted for black this time. It's relatively easy to set up, just be sure to check that the threading on the bottom shaft collar is right side up before completing assembly. At the end of assembly they will ask for you to tighten the collar by screwing it in place. If the threads are not facing upwards it will not connect or tighten. You will then have to partially disassemble, re-assemble, and re-stabilize. Don't look any further....this is the one!
