100% Linux compatible
I been looking at moving to Linux from windows 10 because I don't what to.ude windows 11 when support drops for windows 10. On Linux this works out of box no driver install needed. On Win 10 you need to download 100 meg driver. Connect speed is about 1300 mbit. This should be fine for 1gbit internet connection.

Fantastic, stable wireless internet! Software not included.
Bought this when my property got upgraded to full-fibre broadband. Only problem was the socket was in the living room, while my PC was upstairs. So instead of running an ethernet cable all the way upstairs, I decided to go wireless. Made a false start by going for a smaller, cheaper unit initially. It was okay for a basic connection, but useless for video conferencing or gaming, so I looked for something with greater capability and found the Netgear Nighthawk.Fantastic bit of kit. I've had over a year of fairly stable, high bandwidth internet that allows me to play the latest online games, as well as giving clear audio & video during online meetings. It does lose connection very occasionally and its usually just a matter of unplugging it from the cradle for a few seconds, plugging it back it and pressing the WPS button to reconnect.A word of warning though - I did have to use my laptop to go to the Netgear website and download the software that lets you search for and connect to networks, transfer it to a flash drive, then copy it to my PC for installation. Which is a bit inconvenient.

Mis-sold. Utterly useless to Apple users, unless you run antediluvian OS10 !
Mis-sold - this is not Mac compatible. Utterly useless to Apple users, unless you run antediluvian OS10.8 – 10.15 or earlier !Netgear's advice is:"Since the product software is only compatible with the Mac OS X 10.8.3 or later, we recommend you to return the product to point of purchase since we don't have any other option for it to be installed under Mac OS 11 or newer, we apologies for the inconvenience the product have caused you." Evidently the "or later" means something else to the company. It cannot be bothered to update and clarify its product info – this is a disgraceful lapse for such a fine producer.
