I received this today and I was screaming with joy (Literally)! I have been reading this series online only recently (Like 2 days ago!!) due to many positive reviews. I can honestly say that THIS MANGA is one of the best I have read! Definitely in my top 10 if not top 5. It mixes extremely humorous scenes, but also contains deep meanings and morals (Teaches us about the difficulties of showbiz and how it takes over human compassion and leaves us emotionless; (egotistical and self-centred!) the constant fight between egos almost losing a natural human emotion called 'Love'. Seriously guys this is a MUST BUY!! The story plot, characters' and twists are just.... *KYAAA amazing... I am left speechless only wanting more.This edition contains volume 1, 2 and 3 in other words contains chapters 1-17!Now concerning delivery and packaging etc., I can honestly say the service provided, yet again by Amazon, was SUPERB without fault. No negative comments needed in this area. I decided to try out 'Amazon prime' so I ordered this on the 1st December at 1 AM and received it the following day so the 'one day delivery' promise has been kept. I usually use standard delivery on my previous purchased items and the items usually come 2 days before expected delivery date and sometimes even on Saturdays so WAY TO GO!! Packaging is always immaculate and protects the product extremely well! Easy to open as well... so you won't need any scissors, teeth or claws!On a very final note other reviews have commented about the paper quality stating that it resembles one of a newspaper. I can definitely confirm that the paper is thin, however this does not bother me in the slightest. In fact I personally believe thin paper to suit 3 in 1 edition manga books the best. Most 3 in 1 edition manga books have thick paper making the last pages difficult to read or pages, in general, difficult to flick through. This issue will not occur with this edition!Overall 5/5 stars for product and service. Thank you 'OH SO' very much!

This is one of my favourite manga, so to find it for such a reasonable price is excellent! Hilarious and dramatic storyline, with very engaging and relatable characters. The three-volume bundle takes up less shelf space than individual volumes, but is still a reasonable size to hold (spine width ~3cm). The only disadvantage is that while all the cover images are included, you won't get them all in colour.

It's so great to finally have the manga in person. This is one of my favourite stories and, though it has the odd troupe, the storyline is interesting and different for a romance/drama story. Love love love! Would recommend 💕

As a huge fan of the anime I was gutted that the show was never given an ending, but having found out that the manga picks up where the anime left and continues for more than 13 volumes, I quickly snapped up the first 3 in 1.As others have said the paper quality isn't great and you do miss the original cover art but the artists notes are really entertaining and there are enough very slight variations between the manga and the anime to keep the story interesting for those who have seen the anime.The book is illustrated wonderfully and much like fruits basket their is a lot of detail even to the backgrounds and little comments and thoughts to read. It's a wonderful first manga for anyone who loves shojo anime. it's entertaining, thought provoking and genuinely laugh out loud.

This book contains volumes 1 to 3 (chapters 1 to 17) of Skip Beat!It is rated T for teen (13+) because "This volume contains a grudge".I normally somewhat agree with the ratings on manga but that is just silly.I love Skip Beat! I have done for a long time. Alas, I don't have the space to buy the individual volumes so I was so happy when I heard that omnibus editions were being released. I pre-ordered it as soon as I could! But when it arrived, I was disappointed. The pages are super thin, newspaper-like and it's really quite uncomfortable to read. But it is good for those wanting to save space and those who don't want to spend as much on single volumes.Skip Beat follows Kyoko Mogami and her quest to become famous so she can get revenge on her childhood friend, Sho Fuwa. He brought her to Tokyo and took advantage of her kindness while he became an idol. First she has to find talent agency, she will do anything to get accepted!This book also contains translation notes at the end of each volume and a lot of comments from the author.The art is great. You can easily tell what the characters are feeling and the things that go on in Kyoko's head are hilarious!The story itself is a definite 5/5 but I took away a point because of the paper quality. My hands felt really dry after reading just a chapter. I couldn't read it all in one sitting like I wanted to because of that.
