This is a great extra remote to have at home. It’s the kind of thing your husband says, “Honey, I lost the remote again,” and you’re so glad you have a backup. PLEASE READ!!
Update: it was after all my fault as I ordered the wrong serial number. Remotes were not damaged and as I mentioned what appeared brand new. If you order make sure it is the right remote serial number for your tv, as they all look similar but will not work properly if the remote number is not for your tv. You can find it inside your battery cover. IF YOU DO NOT YOU WILL FIND YOURSELF CLICKING THE BUTTONS MULTIPLE TIMES FOR IT TO WORK AND FAST FORWARD. YOU WILL FIND YOURSELF ANGRY AND ANNOYED BECAUSE OF THE LAGGING AND DELAYED RESPONSE. THE REMOTE IS NOT JUNK, YOU JUST ORDERED THE WRONG SERIAL NUMBER. TRUST ME, I MADE THAT MISTAKE, BUT FIGURED IT OUT.

We went through many replacement remotes before this one. It works so well compared to other models of remotes. I deducted 1 star because the Disney+ button doesn’t work.

Works but volume adjustment is not great
It works right out of the box, but when you hold the volume up/down button it does not continue to increase the sound output you have to click it every time. I will be returning this one, but if that doesn't bother you it is a good purchase.
