Great gun, good NERF alternative
The media could not be loaded. I bought this and another similar model by the same company for a friend's student house. It works well, has a selection of fire settings (single shot, burst shot of 3 rounds (but you have to keep the trigger down for this) and fully automatic where it will keep firing until the magazine clip is empty or you release the trigger. The grip is fits my large adult hand and should be fine for smaller hands too since it is not too long. There is a single Lithium cell battery inside which charges with a supplied lead from any USB power source (USB - JST lead). You need a cross-head screwdriver to get at the battery to charge it; whilst it means you have to go an find a screwdriver it does mean that there is very little chance of the battery falling out at any time.To fire the gun you have to first press and hold the motor start button below the trigger. It takes about a second for the motor to spin up to full power. (This does mean if you are trying a stealthy attack your opponent may hear you before you actually fire!)I did a range test in the garden on burst mode (see the short video). The rounds all fired around 7 metres with the gun held 1 metre high. Doesn't look far in a garden, but most rooms in 2 / 3 bedroom house are 3 to 5m in any direction, so this range is fine for an indoor or small garden gun.The rounds are foam, but unlike most NERF rounds there is a soft sucker head on these.Great gun. I got this one and another shorter barrelled one from the same company. It turns out the main unit is exactly the same for both, the clip on gun parts (barrel, stock, etc.) are the different parts. The gun in my video is just the main unit.Good alternative to NERF. Works well.

FoMass: Electric Foam Dart Rifle
The rifle does require some assembly before use; this process could have been made a bit easier if they had made the instructional diagrams a bit bigger/clearer to read, but I did get there in the end.The rifle does look amazing and does feel fairly robust once the rifle is fully assembled.Included are two different types of darts: round-head and suction plate darts, both types you get 50 of each. To use the rifle, you will need to fill up the magazine first (this can securely hold up to 12 foam darts). There are a few shooting modes to choose from; once selected there is a button you need to hold down before pressing the trigger, this will get the fans going ready for when you fire a foam dart upon pressing the trigger. The darts do fire out quite quickly and for the most part are rather accurate. I personally didn't find them painful when hit at either close or long range; however, eye-wear is advised, just in case.Like Nerf guns, you may find that a bullet may not fire from time to time; just unclip the magazine briefly and put it back in and that should solve the issue. There also a hatch up top so you can check for jammed darts.Overall, I'm having a lot of fun with this foam dart rifle and would highly recommend.

Present for my grandson
No one feels safe to enter now :-) Even the dog hides under the settee for cover...... All joking aside, it's a great toy

decent bit of kit for kids, faulty battery?
A decent bit of kit for kids as far as operational goes. Gives a decent range and the option to switch from semi to full auto. Dropped the gun by accident and it cracked very easily, managed to fix it with some tape, looks more authentic. However my issue with it is that after draining the battery twice it wont seem to recharge now, either that or the wires housed inside that you connect the battery too are damaged. 🤷🏻♂️

Missing part
Rear sight is different to specification; it is too wide and long to fit the rail, as such, there's no aim.Orange pipe that acts as barrel is too broad again, managed to seat it eventually after loosening parts that got onto barrel with screwdriver but is very thin and sounded like it was going to crack every time I fitted a part to it. If a kid catches this against a wall as they round a corner it WILL snap.Assembly ridiculously finnicky, and pictoral instructions are beyond hopeless.25 year old male with Nerf modding experienceCan't say I'm even slightly impressed.Range Vs specification is also questionable, only way to achieve it is if you aim the dart like a mortar. Will be returning.

It needs more power
I like that it shoots far. I use it at a sports camp. Everybody is amazed by it.

Great fun
This gun is great fun. It’s got some power to it too so would advise getting some eye protection if you have young kids shooting at each other. The assembly instructions could be better but it didn’t take me long to work out what goes where. Comes with a rechargeable battery too. The gun is a full size replica of an AK47 and looks fantastic. Recommended.

Great fun
Great fun my 7 year old loves it but I will make kids cry because you can shoot the same spot 12 times reasonably quickly.
