Great for workouts!
I've been using this for a few days now. I wanted to compress my thighs because they cramp up a lot during my workouts, so I figured I'd give this a try. And thankfully it worked! The sizing for the chart is pretty accurate, as I went off the waist sizing and I wear 31"-32" around my waist and it calls for a medium. When they came in I was a bit hesitant but remembered they're for compression, so it'll look small but they expand pretty well. I like the fact that they aren't neoprene. Neoprene makes a lot of noise and it's good for sweating but I didn't need that. These hide well under your workout clothes, so I'm sure they'll hide well under regular clothing. If you need something that compresses you for whatever reason, then I think these will work great. If you want something that'll make you sweat, you'll want to look elsewhere.

Makes your torso looks worse
You'll find that it's a work out just trying to get this thing on. But when you do, it actually does the trick by slimming down your waist and gut. That being said, I noticed that it's so tight on the top edge of the garment that it creates a muffin top on your upper back! Haha. And, if you start moving your arms around, the top edge will start to roll down, making an even bigger muffin top on your upper back and sides! The painful part is the crotch: the garment wasn't made into a pouch, just an opening so it's easy to pee. Because of this, it makes your crotch very uncomfortable and you'll have to adjust your pecker all the time. When weighing the pros and cons, it's just not worth it. I mean, it actually makes you look worse because people can tell you're wearing it underneath your shirt, which defeats the whole purpose.

Very thick, strong compression
These shorts are quite thick and provide lots of compression. If you have a belly, the top will roll down. Kind of defeats the purpose. But very well made shorts.

Did its job
I had a wedding to go to and the shirt I ordered online was a little tight around the belly and larger sizes were sold out. I found this item and decided to try it out, hoping that it would slim up my waist enough to make the shirt look good. I followed the sizing chart on the product page and it seemed to be accurate(I'm 6'1", 208lbs, 35" waist - I ordered the XL). Now it was a little tight and took a little strength pull up but that is to be expected. It wasn't unbearably tight but it did fit snug. It wasn't too hot either. There is a rubber lining at the top that's supposed to prevent slipping but it didn't really work, the top tended to roll down when bending over or sitting. I remedied this by wearing a tucked in muscle shirt and safety pinning the top of the shorts to the shirt. I then tried on the wedding shirt and it fit nicely. The shorts leave a small ridge at the top that can be felt through your top layer. If your shirt is form fitting you may see a horizontal line across the back and possibly the stomach (the ridge met the bottom of my chest so it was unnoticeable). *These shorts will only slim up an inch or two at most, it will not make you significantly skinnier. It'll smooth out small love handles but it won't rein in a full muffin top. Other than the slipping/rolling issue, these shorts work as advertised.
