Only 3 star as It fits and works on me hover fine just the original belt was a type 2 and these are type 1 but saved. Me money so not complaining to seller as they were delivered before expected date and they are good quality so thank u seller

Bought a pack of these belts because my VAX needed a replacement after someone had previously installed a non genuine belt that snapped quite quickly.These were definitely a decent price for a genuine parts and were not a pain to install at all, it just involved removing a few screws from the bottom of the hoover, removing the old belt and putting this one into place. It can be slightly fiddly but is fairly straightforward.I have only had to use one of these belts so far but it is nice that I have a spare should it break again.

Product worked well and is of good quality

You'll need some patience, and a screw driver. Be aware the belt is a complete pain to fit, but solely from the point of getting into the machine. Once you've dismantled enough of it to get to the brush it's relatively easy to pop the belt on. Then of of course you've got to put it back together again. Hopefully using the same number of screws you removed in the first place... There are a number of helpful YouTube vids out there which I found useful, but not specific for my VAX model in particular, so there always seemed to be one or two extra steps than they mentioned. But all sorted eventually, and the machine is working perfectly again. And there's the added peace of mind that you've got a spare belt, just in case.

Used on Vax Power 1,a bit stiff to get on but to be exspected with an belt, once put in place, it stayed, does the job,Cheap enough too!Also got it sooner than i thought i would.

wish we never bought the vacume as with many reviews they all have the same issue of the bellt breaking with just one or two rooms being vacumed plus u have to grab the screw driver and open it up evey time. making it a costly affair that Vax doesn't want to admit that the design is faulty. buying this or a cheaper version makes no difference- they will still break, with a burning smell- nothing to do with the filter or the machine being cleaned o not.. even with new filter or a clean dust bin etc its still gonna break after one or 3 times use..I bought this because the cheaper version couldn't be delivered the next day and i had guests coming over so needed to clean or go buy a new vacume..

First one broke within a week. Don't bother, if you love your vax this much,get generic and save money. Vax insist that a 9 month old machine belt shouldnt actually go, and then told us our carpet was too thick! Since we have hard floors throughout and one rug its hard to see how they can say that. They dont cover the belt (despite it being a model design flaw that leaves the motorised belt running when the machine is stationary and in pipe and upholstery mode) and expect you to buy the belts direct from them and a higher cost than amazon. Meanwhile we mothballed the vax and got a dyson instead.
