ASDM BEVERLY HILL GLYCOLIC ACID PEEL PATCH TEST..
9/25/16: The beginning of my review for ASDM BEVERLY HILLS 25% Glycolic Acid Peel will be based on my patch test. I made z video of the process from beginning to end. Hopefully, I can get the video to upload when I'm finished WRITING my review. As recommended, AND very improtant, I'm starting with 25% glycol acid. I'm a newbie to this world of glycolic peels. I did my patch test and this review is based on that. I felt NO BURNING! ZERO! Just a slight tingle. I do not have sensitive skin. From what I read of some reviewers, they DO have sensitive skin. So, if you're one of those persons, ASDM recommends starting with 10% yo 30%. If you're not sure how your skin will react, may I suggest, 10% to start your first peel. The brand is affordable so, if you decide, you can go stronger, you're not out of alot of money with your first bottle. I've even read one review, that she mixed 2 strengths. I AM NOT SUGGESTING YOU DO THAT, I ONLY READ IT. Use your own judgement, read, and know your facts before starting. I started 2 months ago with fruit acid peels. Which is wonderful. Im going to use fruit peels in between my glycolic peels. I have a favorite brand of those type of peels. If youre curious to which brand, just comment below. I'll receive your message and reply there. I did have a baking soda paste mixture on hand just in case I needed to clear off the peel. I did use it but not until my 2 minutes were up with the glycol acid. Again, I felt no burning. Just a tingle. I have not experienced any sensitivity to products on my face in thd past. After I used the baking soda paste. ( water & baking soda) I used a nuetralizer. I bought on Amazon. Just to make sure I didn't have any remaining glycolic acid on my skin. After thd deed was done, as directed, I slathered on my favorite moixturizer with 30% SPF. Do not skip this step. Try to stay out of the sun if you can but, most of us can't. Use an SPF please. I'll update this review after I do my whole face. I'm recommending ASDM Beverly Hills 25% Glycolic Acid Peel because I have had a positive patch test, feel its safe for home use, with caution, read all materials included. Do your homework!! ( after writing my review, I was unable to add my video. Due to low battery. I'll update soon as I can, if you're reading this review and don't see photos or video, check back at a later date. They will be added. I videod the steps from beginning to end. Yeah. I was the brave one!) Sorry about no video. I just couldn't get it to upload. I finally used the ASDM 25% glycolic peel on my whole face. I had my nuetralizers ready. Baking soda paste and my nuetralizer, bottled. At first, no burning. As the seconds ticked away, yes, some burning. I left it on for 2 minutes, 20 seconds. It wasnlt until I applied with a cotton pad, I felt burning. My BF freaked out. I held it together. I did 2 week research before beginning. I then, nuetralized with my bottled, branded nuetralizer. And, finally, felt no burning. At this point, I'm fine. Always was. Please, always follow directions. I found it extremely helpful reading reviews. My complexion has a glow, felt warm. Great! Its suppose to. I followed up with a vitamin C serum then, a new brand moisturizer, which I love The following day, I had no peeling or any peeling after that. Just great glowing complexion receiving fully, my vitamin C serum, and my retinol moisturizer. I recommend ASDM Glycolic 25% peel to new users or experienced users. I've experienced wonderful results . No peeling. ( could be because I use a fruit peel containing Papaya and vitamin C 1 month prior. Please comment with a positive vote if my review is helpful. And, comment with questions. I'll be happy to answer. Thank you.Update: March 2017, I am still having great results with ASDM Beverly Hills 25% glycolic acid. I WAS going to up my strength today to 30% but, may not because, 30% may only be 5% stronger but, upon reading other reviewers that went from 25% to 30%, a few of them had results that were not what they expected, hyperpigmentation which is brown spots. Exactlt what Im trying to get rid of! Ive had great results with 25%. My main reason for using glycolic acid is to get rid of dead skin cells on a deeper level than a lactic acid can give me. I use lactic acid and 10% glycolic peel pads, in between my 25% glycolic peel treatments. Im placing my 2nd order of this product today.

A staple of my skincare routine for years
Glycolic acid has made a significant difference to my sebhorreic dermatitis and acne prone skin.I used to do a weekly peel with it, but I found it too irritating, even at 30%. Instead, I add 2-3 drops of glycolic acid to my nighttime moisturizer. I've found that this lesser but more regular application has minimized my acne, softened my skin, and gotten rid of flakes from sebhorreic dermatitis too. This has been a staple of my skincare routine for years

is this magic?
I just started using this product. This is the third time I used it, and I find it amazing!!The first time I put it on, and it burned so much! I waited 2 mins, and I put on the buffer mix. After that, my skin was very soft, and I saw how few pimples came out right away, the skin was broken, but yucky pimples stuff free. Next day one of my cheeks was very itchy, I scratched it and white heads came out right away....The second time I used it only on my nose. This time I left it 3 mins, and I didn't use the buffer mix, I just rinsed off with water (it was a little bit painful) I saw blackheads coming out from my nose! My nose is blackheads free!!!Third time: I used it under my nose (that area is almost clean, I had a lot of junk accumulated in that area), in between my brows, chin, and jaw bone area. Same situation! My skin is clearing out. I'll keep giving updates, I just want to tell everybody, this acid works, and yes you are going to breakout because it is trying to get rid off the junk!

Amazing KP buster
I have purchased this item now several times, in the 30% and 40% strength. I use it in a less conventional way, and please do NOT try this unless you know your skin can handle it.I have had keratosis pilaris since my teens, and it has only worsened with age (now 34). At best, my arms feel smooth to the touch but are covered in tiny red dots, and I dont mean my upper arms - my entire arm to my wrist. At its worst, the hair follicles get clogged and create actual bumps that I constantly mess with bc I have no self control. All OTC products have failed me, and scrubs make it worse. Even high end stuff was no match.Since I am in healthcare, i am taking multiple hot showers daily due to this outbreak, and am disgusted with how bad it has gotten. I found this gem in my cabinet and after 4 uses, my arms are soo much better and smoother, so I don't pick them.I use it straight with a cotton ball on freshly washed skin and I don't rinse it off, but again, my skin makes far too much keratin and can handle it. It itches like crazy for a few minutes, but it dissipates, and I have no burning. Unlike salicylic acid, I do not get any peeling either. I also use to spot treat if i see little spots pop up on my thighs or buttock, and they literally disappear overnight. If you suffer from severe KP, i highly recommend this product. I only wish I had found it sooner, I would have saved a boatload of money.

Good product AT FIRST but then...
At first, I really liked this peel. At its lower percentage (I got 30%), it’s definitely not as strong as a professional peel but I thought it would be safer to start with less. And I’m glad I did. It felt just as fiery and burning as a professional peel feels. And the results were quite similar. I didn’t have quite as much peeling or redness, but my skin was absolutely smoother and more even-toned after the first one and the results keep up after continuing use.I felt my skin could handle a weekly application and so I did that for about 6 weeks and my skin looked luminous.BUT...It strangely stopped working after that 6th week. I applied it yesterday and felt ZERO effects. You will know when it’s working because you feel it-it’s stings and burns quite a bit. I didn’t get that AT ALL. It’s like it suddenly lost all of its potency. So since you would realistically get dozens and dozens of applications out of this and I only got six, it’s basically worthless.I did like the results when it worked but I don’t think it’s worth buying for just 6 applications. There are plenty of other competing products that will last their lifetime.

Really good results!
This has been my first experience with a gylcoric acid peel and I'm really impressed with the results! So far I've been using it once a week for 4 weeks and I'm planning on doing one more week with this product before I move to a higher percentage.Because my skin has never had a peel I started with having it on for 1 minute. Each week I've increased it by another minute until next week I'll reach 5 minutes. I have also purchased the 30% which I will be using afterwards and start from 1 minute again. How to:1. First I cleansed my face to remove all makeup and dirt. Do not exfoliate!2. I apply 70% rubbing alcohol to a cotton pad and made sure to cover my entire face. This helps dry out all the oils so nothing is stopping the peel from working at its best.3. I filled my sink with lukewarm water and baking soda. This is to stop the peel from "peeling" after your desired time. The ratio is 2 parts water 1 part baking soda, doesn't have to be exact.4. I use a small glass bowl to put the gylcoric peel in and use a gauze pad to dip it in and wipe on my face. (You can also use a fan brush but I don't have one on hand.)5. Put a liberal amount of moisturizer on your eyebrows, nostrils and lips to keep the peel away.6. As soon as you swipe your face for the first time, start your timer!7. Once the time has been reached, splash your face immediately with the water and baking soda mixture. You'll feel a bit of an intense tingling feeling but only for a second. Keep rinsing your face for at least 30 seconds.8. Pat your face dry with a clean towel and moisturize the heck out of your face! Be very generous as the peel does dry you out.I highly recommend taking a photo before you do your first peel and a photo after each peel. Also, I do the peels at night so my skin has its beauty sleep to recover.

Does Wonders!
This product is very good, but also very strong so you need to know how to use it. If used recklessly, it can damage/ burn your skin. I used it on my acne scars on my arms and literally saw results within 3 weeks. the texture of my skin was far better and the scars had lightened significantly. definitely recommend.

Reasonable priced, quick and easy treatment that works.
After 3 weeks of use I definitely see that older dark spots from acne on my face are gradually lightening and fading. I also bought the recommended cream which I enjoy using and find it really calms my sensitive skin down after doing the treatment and for a few days afterwards. I follow all the steps pretty closely and use the neutralising solution. I've started to apply the acid to newer spots and I'm hoping to see the same quick results.

Good peel
This is a very good peel. I haven't been able to keep it on for the recommended time yet, maybe my skin needs to get used to it. I use it once a week and take it off as soon as I feel any tingling (usually after a couple minutes). I don't want to risk leaving it on my face too long and causing damage. After using it my face has a glow to it the next day. I do find that it dries out the skin, so I follow with a moisturizing sheet mask to rehydrate my skin.
