Decent for the price.
A decent value for the price. I am sure it's all from China and I wouldn't want to have to rely on any of the tools included. Overall it is a good value for all the items you get for the price

Great Entry Level First Aid Kit
This first aid kit comes with many basic first aid items and also comes with some nifty survival tools as well, while all being conveniently packed into one small bag that can be easily stored almost anywhere. The first aid kit comes with essential and basic first aid items that you would find in any smaller home kit, such as bandages (sticky and tape) and wound cleaning wipes. But it also comes with some intermediate aid items such as arm slings, safety blankets, a splint former roll and ice packs. It does also include one critical emergency aid item and that is one Torniquet, which is used to stop serious bleeding and is usually a last resort option to do so. So overall it does cover quite a bit of first aid situations, though limited in quantity. This kit also comes with some handy survival items such as a small entrenching tool, rain ponchos, a credit card survival tool (a multipurpose tool that is the size and shape of a credit card), a flashlight, foldable water bottle and a tactical spork. The flashlight is really basic but is better than nothing, it does have a light focuser dial and two modes of lighting (standard and strobe); also, there are no batteries included in the kit. The entrenching tool is descent and sturdy but doesn't seem that it is as durable as a shovel/pickaxe would be in the same situation. The compass on the handle of the entrenching tool does not work properly, so I wouldn't rely on it. The tactical(?) spork is pretty strong for what it is and does have a variety of uses it can be used for.I can see this kit being perfect for any type of camping, mountain climbing and/or hiking trip. Or this kit can simply be stored in a vehicle somewhere for that "just in case" event that you need first aid. Also, it would make a good basic first aid kit for a "bug out" kit for SHTF preppers that plan on leaving their homes IF a major/cataclysmic civil emergency ever does happen. For whatever reason why this kit will be potentially used for, it's better than having nothing at all.Overall, this first aid kit is a good entry level kit (or an add-on kit) and offers a variety of helpful first items and useful survival tools. This first aid kit is compact and can easily be fit into/onto almost anywhere. Again, regardless of its planned intended use for whatever situation "It's better to have something, than nothing". Also remember to buy batteries, AA for the flashlight!

It's a decent starter kit
It's a decent starter kit for somebody, but you will definitely need to add to it.Let me start off by saying the reason I gave it 5 stars is because of price. We're not talking about the best quality gear, but it's pretty decent for a beginner or someone who doesn't plan to use it unless in an emergency. And for that, I think it's good. Would also be good for a scout or a youngster who enjoys the outdoors. It would be a good base kit to try out and see what does and doesn't work for them and then build on it.As for the contents, some are decent, some are questionable. Let's be realistic, they added a bunch of small bandages, safety pins and cotton swabs to achieve the claim of 145 pieces. And that's fine, just an observation. One of my biggest concerns is the tourniquet. When compared to a real NAR CAT, this feels cheaply made. I would be concerned with it failing if you have to use it in a real situation. Would be good for training, but I wouldn't trust my life with it. The Israeli bandage may be decent, but I don't want to open it up and contaminate it. It's vacuum sealed for steralization purposes. Once you open it, it's compromised. The shovel is decent enough and could come in handy digging out snow from around your tires if stuck, and for digging a trench around your tent when camping to keep the water away. The trauma shears are ok, the spork is serviceable, the flashlight works, the splint is decent and the bandages are serviceable.Again, for a beginner or someone who doesn't plan to use it a lot, it's a pretty good start. And I do think this would be a good kit for a boy/girl scout or any outdoor enthusiast. Get it, use it and see what works and what you may need to add. The bag surprisingly holds more than it looks like it can. We're going to keep this in my wifes car for those "just in case" situations. For the price of $39.99 at the time of this review, I think it's a good deal.

Great to have nearby!
I always keep an emergency kit nearby in all my vehicles. Got this one and enjoy all the contents, especially in a Molle bag! It is not a big deal however, when you do get this pack take note that it doesn't come with AA battery for light. So, you may want to add one before leaving this for an emergency.
