Great product
The media could not be loaded. Going on 2 days of having the lamp. The first day for about half the day it took my red eared turtle some time to get used to something new on his tank (both light & basking grass ramp were new to him) and he would just hide away from it. But then I noticed him happier and sure enough he started basking and getting a greater apetite (which is one of the things a UVA UVB light should promote) and sure enough I noticed him start basking, second day having it he's basking alot more he seems to really like this light. I did follow the box instructions and I turn it off every 6hrs until cools down (about 20mins) then turn it back on again since turtles are supposed to bask for about 10-12hrs a day on and off. The brightness on the lamp is great. The design is too, its sturdy and doesn't seem cheap. Im pleased so far and it was a great price too. I hope bulb lasts!

the light adapter broke apart first time taking bulb out
I loved it then I hated it. I went to go see if the bulb had blown because the light stopped working and all of the insides came out on my hand while I was unscrewing the bulb. Now my snake has no hear source til can get a new one. Thanks a lot.

Breaks easily with its causing dangerous sparks
Terrible, the light bulb is fine but the actual lamp it's self is terrible I was attempting to move it around in order to gain a better light spot when it just shut off, and then when I went to grab it sparks flew out from the back where the cord was and it literally burnt out the bulb breaking it, this happened because the actual cord plugged into the lamp was loose and it broke instantly, ive bought two of these and they both broke the same way, do not purchase this, it's too cheap and breaks too easily.

Reptiles need heat
This looks good on the side of the tank. It works really well and throws off good heat so I’m happy with the quality it wasn’t overly pricey so it was a good value for the money and it’s small. It’s not too big for the side of a fish tank it’s easy to use you clip it on there and throw a switch

Long lasting
This light has lasted over a year! It's very small. Smaller than I expected but that's my fault for not reading.I'm very impressed with how long it has lasted. Still getting to the right temperature. And haven't had to change it. Talk about getting the most out of your money.I will update when it burns out. We have it on 24/7.We keep it on the "hot/humid" side of the tank.I have a leopard gecko. When I did my research. There was conflicting answers on what is needed for them. He's thriving just fine 1.5 years. My tank is much bigger than recommended so I use a light and a temperature map for under the tank.

Not good for clamping to tank
When clamped to my 20 gallon tank, it melted the frame. Otherwise, no problems.
