So practical - just what I wanted for a one cup loose tea/herb infusions

This is a very simple, straight forward item, made of fairly thin glass. It's looks fantastic with a fresh brew in it, and it worked well for me using some loose leaf tea. It was a new experience for me. However, you do have to be careful not to burn yourself, and I have to say that the mug was very dirty when I opened it. Not the end of the world, since you're obviously going to clean it anyway.This is a good value item, and worth a go to see if this is your "cup of tea", although I think most people would probably just find it easier to chuck a tea bag in a mug.

Super elegant glass! The concept is cool and it looks really nice but it’s a little form over function.In terms of hot liquids it can get a tad hot although the handle doesn’t! The actual straining/ diffusing is good, not 100% but definitely workable.Overall this is a nice glass.

I ordered this because my partner really likes glass cups and also really likes special loose-leaf teas and herbs-based teas.I trialled this with a mix of dry wild leaves and herbs. My video should give you a good idea of how this works. First you can clearly see smaller particles flowing through the diffusion holes. This may not actually be a problem, it really is a personal thing and even with old school tea strainers and other devices, a few leaves and such do get through; fortune tellers would soon be out of business if this wasn't the case. Some people are happy to drink tea with the herbs directly in the water and simply filter at the mouth so I'm not sure this is a deal breaker.In terms of functionality, it does diffuse ok although without intervention that process is a little slow. Lifting the tea receptacle helps push the flavour into the mug. Eventually you will need to lift the receptacle right out of the cup in order to drink the tea. The problem here is that the whole thing will have become very hot, making it difficult to handle. This is a design flaw to my mind. There needs to be handle on this to allow it to be removed without risk of burnt fingers. I also am not sure why the glass lid is necessary; it seems to be a purely aesthetic feature. The cup does get hot but the handle doesn't and that is what it is there for.All in all, you can make this work however the basic design could do with a rethink.

at first i didnt know how to use it, as it never came with instructions, but now that i know how to use it i brew some really good cups of tea. highly recommended if your a tea enjoyer.
