2-Pack Chlorinator Lid Replacement O-Ring For Pentair Rainbow Models 300/320 R172009 O-283 2 Pack

The old ring had deteriorated with age and the local shops wanted more than I wanted to pay, this pack was at a great price and the ring dropped right in.

Well, the title pretty much says it all.I bought a house with an existing in-ground pool and the pump set was at least 10 years old. When the last time this o-ring was changed, I don't know. When I inspected it, it was rotten and crumbling. This o-ring set is a perfect fit for the Pentair Rainbow Model 320 cap. I put a little silicon lubricant on the o-ring and placed in inside the cap and I expect I'll be an old man before I need to use the 2nd o-ring in the package.

Seems to fit and be working fine. When you look at the new one compared to the old, squashed up, mashed up one, it looks too thin to be the right item, but the tower was leaking like a sieve before replacement and now is not, so happy to have it fixed, for 1/4th the cost of other options.

When the spa filter pump finally purges the air from the system and water fills the filter body up to the lid, it leaks 360 degrees at the seal until surface tension and/or the seal expands which causes the gasket to work and all the leaking water stops. Just be prepared that this will happen.

Great dependable product at a great price. Have a huge pool & enjoy knowing can get my QUALITY supplies at a much reasonable price than local pool supply stores in my area.

Replaced the o rings in my in line chlorinator with these. They fit perfectly. No leaks after 4 months.

Sticker on package does not match the advertised product. Now it says the item is non-returnable & no refund - very unhappy! I have no idea what the item they sent is good for- does not match what was advertised. The o-rings are way too big. Tell TORK they owe us a refund. If they were honest, they would. ZERO stars.
