I bought this adapter on Nov 19, 2023, and suddenly, in Oct 2024, when I changed to a Mac from a Dell, the adapter stopped working. I was so worried and even forgot I have a 1-year warranty; I just found the customer support email of Wavlink, and I emailed them asking for help at 10:24 pm. I was just hoping they could share some ways to check the adapter; if not, I will buy a new one. But more than I expected, they replied after 20 minutes and carefully asked me for details about the product and invoice#. After I gave them details, they shared a link to the Silicon Motion driver for me to try to download so it could work well with Mac instead of Windows. I am so lucky that the adapter works immediately after that. I am glad and really appreciate the tech team's support. This is the first time I have received such great support from customer service after 2 years of living in the US, lol. Anyway, I highly recommend this product, especially this brand.

Like many others I’ve been working remote since the pandemic. I have a great home office set up but find I’ve been struggling to find windows during meetings … as such I added additional monitors (4 plus my laptop monitor).I needed an adapter to ensure all monitors could link to my laptop- this one seemed to fit the need.Honestly, it works well 90% of the time, however every now and then the monitors will flicker then settle back (but the window screens will move monitors when it flickers so I’ll need to drag screens back to right monitor - not a big deal but a little annoying if screen sharing or presenting).For the price and the fact it’s linking 5 monitors I feel it was a good purchase - you just need to be ok with some screen flickers periodically.

Mi intención era conectar dos monitores adicionales a mi laptop, con este dispositivo lo logré, es necesario descargar el controlador de la página de ea link; configurando el “escritorio extendido” en windows ahora puedo ver tres documentos archivos al mismo tiempo. A mejorar lo largo del cable es muy corto y esto puede debilitar el conector USB (viene incluido un adaptador para USB C) si no tienes el cuidado de fijarlo para que no quede colgando.

Was able to install Instant View and connect 2 external monitors (extended mode) to the M2 Macbook Air.Also works seamlessly with Windows PC as well. I switch between work and personal laptops and it works without issue.
